I’ve had an idea in my head that I’ve been slowly fleshing out for years. Then life gets in the way etc and I leave it for it to resurface in my brain a few months after. I want to try my hand at writing the story because in my head (like many others I’m sure) it feels like an epic fantasy/sci fi.

My friend recommended doing short stories to flesh out the characters and the world and I’ve stumbled across a few Reddit pages that gives advice. What are some tips you could offer for an absolute novice?

I was offered a job in an education setting and I’ve passed all the checks, such as clean DBS and relevant satisfactory references, the only outstanding was a reference from my old employer 2 years ago. Whatever they said in their reference has prevented me from getting this job but the problem is I have no idea what they said. When I’ve requested information from both sides they are simply stating confidentiality and ask the other person for it. I’ve looked into SAR and confidential references are exempt. Am I truly screwed? Do I really just have to accept that this is my reality and go forward without knowing what was said about me?

I’ve been contacting Virgin for the last three days because of my loss of service and I’ve noticed a trend with the customer service reps that I’ve spoken to. They all have very similar dialects very strange way of talking and make very similar mistakes on certain words. I can’t exactly prove it, but I have a suspicion that they are.

There are reading of a prompter Word for Word and messing up the exact same thing. Or I’m going insane. Probably that since I’ve had no Internet since Saturday.

I’m getting the childhood urge to buy this game. I haven’t played a cod since Advanced Warfare but BO2 was my prime. But I’m wondering how popular it is before I put the £17 down. Is it a novelty or is it here to stay for a long time?

So in the quest you see her and the void go down. Presumably into Azeroth, but since then it feels like there isn’t a big push into chasing after her. It almost feels like, oh well that’s bad. Anyway, let’s go explore this island east that’s been shrouded in mist.

I’ve just found out my final grade! I’m so proud of myself! All those late nights and sleepy days and stress were worth it!

I never got my A Levels when I was younger and hated school, so to come out with the highest grade I could get is a huge achievement for me!

This was my favourite game to play with my friends and we’ve just managed to sit down and play together for the first time since the update and we’re all incredibly upset. This was our favourite game to play and our only game that we’ve played for the last year together in our little time that we have to spend. And this update has ruined so many things and changed so many things for the worst that we’ve all just uninstalled. I can’t imagine why they would have a game that was almost in perfect state and almost ruined it in every way. To top it off the last game we played just crashed after spending all the time finding all the words and the dolls only to crash and not get credit for the game.
