How to calculate maintenance.

I’m not sure what my maintenance is. I’ve lost the weight I wanted to lose, so I’m trying to figure out my maintenance. I wanted to eat just slightly under that to compensate for party days.

My life:

- I work in education. I stand or walk most of the day except for maybe 1-2 hours in 30 min spurts

- I walk intentionally for 20 mins, 5 days a week

- I teach a modern contemporary dance class that involves floor work and speedy movement once a week. Sometimes twice. Class is 1.5 hours long.

- I do 30 min HIIT workouts with 8 lb weights twice a week.

- I do a good portion of the house work except for cooking at home.

- Rest of the time is on the couch playing video games, but I play standing sometimes.

- I’m a 36 year old male, 5’5”, and 124 lbs.

- I was losing about 0.7 lbs a week eating at 1600 calories per day.

I have seen a range of anywhere from 1700-2200, but that’s far too wide of a range for me to be comfortable. Help!

Step 1: Lead your human to the fridge.

Step 2: Wait for your human to choose an appropriate mug.

Step 3: Sit pretty while your human fills the mug with water (and ice!)

Step 4: Enjoy!

In a just and humane world, we would all work together to support each other… and treatos wouldn’t be cut in half.

I ate one. Very thin and about the size of my palm. Had a sweet cream inside.
