I’ve been making fruit/veggie beads from airdry and polymer clay for the last six months. I’ve come a long way with my progress and love how everything is looking together so far 😊🍓
Still works! All the old jukeboxes were auctioned off a couple years ago, we bought this from someone who won this in the auction for $1200 and we scored it from them for $300 on fb marketplace. Came with a handful of original Waffle House 45 records as well that we keep displayed. Definitely one of my favorite vintage media finds
I was inspired by another Reddit post I came across of someone who painted strawberries on their lamp shade. It never occurred to me that I have free will to do that 😅 I had a stain on this shade and had nothing to lose of it looked bad. But I like it!
I have been making air dry clay beads of different fruits and making them into earrings. I started dabbling in polymer clay but I think the air dry clay ends up looking like ceramic and I love it
I sculpted the strawberries out of Das airdry clay, painted with acrylic and varnished with a glossy coat. I assembled them with acrylic beading for the leaves & flowers on an 18k gold hook. I think these are my personal favorites so far 🍓☺️
I’ve been making fruit charms out of airdry clay. Sculpting, painting and varnishing each little one myself. Attaching to gold hooks with iridescent flowers. I’ve always enjoyed/preferred air dry clay but just recently started dabbling in polymer clay.
I’ve been working on these designs for a few months and I’m so proud of how far my craft has come. I think I’ve finally created my own personal style and am having so much fun with these
I make clay pendants that I turn into earrings ☺️ and recently turned some glass flower charms into Lilly of the Valley earrings as well.

I made the strawberries and Lilly of the Valley earrings with glass beads. The others I made the pendants myself with clay. Ive made all of my charms with Das airdry clay but decided to give polymer clay a try this week. I do like it, but think i prefer the das clay still.
Overall, I’ve been making jewelry and charms for about 6 months now. I’ve made so much progress and am proud of how far my craft has come ☺️
I make handmade air dry clay charms of fruit and turn them into earrings. I started with posting my blueberry earrings and have already made two sales in my first week of opening my shop! I’m so grateful with how my hard work has paid off and the advice/love from different Reddit communities I’ve received. I’m so excited for the journey ahead of me! Thank you everyone on this subreddit, it’s been an incredibly useful tool.
What I think worked for me since I just hopped into an Etsy shop:
•Using Reddit as a tool for communication on my process has been my biggest driver for views to my shop and has also created discussions for constructive criticism on what has worked for others that sell similar products so I can use the advice on my product.
•I made sure I took the right photos before posting anything, it took me a few days before I landed on photos that I thought were good enough. I took them in direct sunlight so it would catch the sparkle on the zirconia crystal in my earring hook & accurately show the colors. I don’t think I would have had as much success with indoor, low light pictures.
I made my own blueberry beads out of air dry clay to make earrings with 😊🫐
I have officially started my Etsy shop! I create each blueberry charm by hand, and they are assembled with 18k gold zirconia earring hooks. I have more fruits to come as I establish my inventory. So excited to start this journey with selling my art!
I received a lot of advice on how I could improve my clay earrings. I updated the bead layout, upped my price, switched the flower charms, and most importantly switched from the cheap earring hooks to a more custom pair. I chose an 18k gold zirconia hook, and I do believe that was my game changer. I’ve had a lot of success with sales since making these changes. Just wanted to share the after pics😁
