South Africa Obsession

Im a diaspora Nigerian from the US so I’m not caught up to a lot things but what is it with South Africans and insulting Nigerians on social media, especially Twitter and TikTok, you would think Nigeria dropped an atomic bomb them they way they talk about Nigerians, I already knew South Africa has xenophobia problems but they have a certain hatred for Nigerians that I have no idea where it comes from

Random Racist Subreddits

Do you guys ever slowly realize certain random subs just tend to be filled to brim with racist whenever a post something to do with a black person, I feel like this is the case on r/whoathatsinteresting. Any post with a black person on that sub and every other comment is dog whistle

Why are African parents so religious

Why are African parents so religious? I swear the way they approach religion and the power it has over them is unlike anyone else, like they feel like they never have to take action they can just pray through everything, I truly believe if my mom ever found out im no longer religious she would just collapse on the floor

Wish We Had Our Own First World Country

I wish we there was at least one black majority first world country, granted I live in the US an obvious first world country with over 40 million black people, no other first world country is touching that number or percentage of black people but the percentage still caps at 13% and anyone who lives here will tell there are still a lot of day to day and systemic issues that we face here due to being a minority.

It gets me thinking I just wish we had our own adjacent country where we were the vast majority, we don’t have our own China, UAE, Chile, or Norway way like countries, there nothing I would want more than to move to a prosperous country where almost everyone around me looks like me. It bothers me when I look around at the state of out black majority countries and see the levels of corruption and incompetent governance they have, it makes me feel like in my lifetime I won’t get to see or experience that prosperous majority black country.

How Do Yall Feel About This

There is a restaurant in Argentina called Big Nigga Burgers, the entire restaurant is themed around Black American Culture. In my opinion ignorant and racist as hell, using Black American culture to make money while degrading them in the process, unfortunately the black population is non existent in Argentina and the theme itself garners a lot of attention so its nothing that can be done about it

Results From a Nigerian American

Got my results a month ago but it was about what I expected so I didn’t post it, but why not. Maybe it will change a little in the future. (Both parents are Igbo)
