Feeling disgusted with myself after what I did.

I am sharing this because I want to lessen the burden on my heart. I (17F) was talking to a guy (18M) I met on Reddit. We are both from the same city, so we got along well. We used to talk about our daily lives, but after a few days, the conversation took a turn. We started exchanging pics and then he started asking for nudes. Idk why I gave in, I sent him photos while hiding my face, though after a few minutes, I would unsend them.He acted all lovey-dovey, like he cared about me, asking about my health and studies. Then, a few days ago, he was acting way differently and suddenly said "you have to be blocked" Tho he didn't block me but stopped messaging me. After this I checked his Reddit account and found out that while he was talking to me, he was also asking older women to talk to him and offering to satisfy them and also was lying to me abouteverything.

I made this same mistake back in 2023. At that time, my mother caught me and taught me a lesson about it. Now, I feel like I've made a grave mistake all over again, though this time I realized it and stopped it by myself.

The hardest part is that even while I was sending the pictures and feeling guilty, I still did it. Now, I feel like what I did will make others question my character or judge me. This is eating me alive. Sometimes I also feel like, in some way, I betrayed my future partner and that I failed my parents again.

I know I shouldn't have talked to him and sent him all those pics. Now I think about the convo now i realized that all along he was giving me subtle hints that he was fooling me around. Now I can't focus on my studies due to all this.

I just wanted to let this out as this thing is eating me out from inside.

Coffee frother not working...

Guys i ordered this a few days ago. Well this good for nothing frother is working perfectly fine in air but it’s not frothing the coffee. As soon as I submerge it into milk or water it will stop working. If I submerge it into water then it has to be kept under sunlight to work and in milk it will stop working but as soon as I take it out it will start working.

Is 'don't talk back' the advice given to all girls to prepare them for their future in-laws?

I am a very rebellious person ,so I don't like if somebody orders me around be it my parents or anyone else. Basically what happened is yesterday I was sitting in the living room with my family. There my father who was sitting near the switch board asked me to turn on the TV and i was sitting quite far away . So I said 'you can open it by yourself since you are sitting right there'. He became angry and scolded me. Then I told this to my mother and she scolded saying, 'you could have just opened it as he is your father'. She is always after me to bow in front of others like go give glass of water to your father who is sitting watching TV or go give this food plate to your brother. When I oppose this, she says, 'you are a girl, so don't talk back. If you'll do this again and again then your future in-laws will abuse you. Thus do the work and don't act like a boss'. I don't mind doing household chores but the problem is my father or brother or any male they are not god they can do their work. They consider women as a certified servant. Why household chores are treated as gender obligation rather than a shared responsibility? Are we still living in an era where women are expected to be 'certified servant' to every male in the house?

Is it normal for friends to comment on my body and clothes?

I (17F) am somewhat chubby. I would not say I am slim, nor would I say I am fat. In coaching and in school all my female mates are slim and they constantly judge me for my belly and waist fat like " you should not wear noodle strap dresses as it looks good only on slim girls or you should not wear crop top, bodycon dress as your tummy looks weird in these dresses." A few months ago my brother got married so I was discussing about wedding outfit with one of my friends and she started giving me suggestions about outfit. One suggestion she gave me was about peplum lehenga, as soon as she gave the suggestion she quickly dismissed it by saying "but peplum lehenga looks good on girls who don't have a heavy upper body or who are very slim and you are not slim and also you have a heavy upper body so you should not wear it." All these things make me feel sad , I don't have any problem with my body, so why do other people have a problem? Why can't they just be happy for others instead of always bodyshaming them? They should look at themselves first.

Navigating the Transition: From All-Girls School to Co-Ed College

It's my question to all girls who went to all girls school and then to co-ed college. How you people had dealt with the anxiety which originated while you were around boys? I'm rn in 12th standard and from girls school. I always wonder in future how can I be fitted around my boys colleague because now I acknowledge them as alien and I feel utterly uncomfortable around them. Pls help me out .
