Shirley from Caerphilly has come so far
Remember when she needed convincing that Paddington from the animated classic, Paddington (starring Ben Wishaw) wasn't a) a real bear or b) a puppet with someone's hand up its arse?
She was much more willing to believe the David Attenborough sequence with all the animals was AI! Which I personally thought was a disappointing decision, they could have totally got away with a dog and a hawk but they lost me at the hodgeheg.
Anyway side note, did anyone else think that 'Beautiful World' through the eyes of the 'boxers was a bit depressing? I didn't watch the actual BBC broadcast of the whole thing (no TV license) and I'm sure I would have been quite moved by it too but it seemed everyone kind of missed the point. David Attenborough (and King Charles actually, not that I'm a Royalist by any means) is an activist and action is needed to preserve the world as it is.
It all just seemed a bit passive, no one was galvanised or inspired. Seemed like the message was wasted a bit.
