Overall the new kit is amazing and even has some improvements over the standard release. The pegs are a bit smaller than on original so they connect much more easily, but because of that holes that had old pegs (for example holster part) in them for a while will feel loose. Also if you want to add the belt/skirt parts you have to use new hips, old hips have too big pegs that will stress the holes.
Not an ad, but I would highly recommend the nasedal stores for buying sheik mainland kits. From personal experience they have great customer service, prices, switch colours if you ask and provided missing part that I had on one sprue. https://a.aliexpress.com/_EIDbZoS
Just like fenrir and xenodash, majority of parts are connected in only one place, exceptions are mainly reuse of the internal joints from xenodash and strike as well as hands and base. The use of hinges instead of ball joints in knees and elbows makes the figure feel more sturdy. Overall articulation is updated, especially in shoulders which felt a bit junky on the xenostrike. Heads are a lot easier to change on xentinel. Accessories are also more detailed and personally I find them much more fitting.
Height and design come down to personal preference. Xentinel is taller and more skeletal/mechanical, which may not fit as well with other 1/18 figures. Xenostrike has some nice armor/body shaping and height closer to average 1/18 human.
I feel like they are nicer to swap than the xenostrike head. Overall xentinel feels like complete upgrade of the xenostrike.
Nothing changed for regular folks, SC cheaters just can't extract with too much in a day
I'm thinking of getting an extra black fenrir to make a guy inspired by Adam Smasher.
Uses gun from xenodash for shoulder gun.
You van now make an all grey fenrir
Not quite in the minifig scale, but sturdy and poseable. https://www.instagram.com/p/DZH6movAA1j/?igsh=MmlpdnVtY2hrY2k5
