The attacking AI of LIONEL MESSI. Brainless game.

Theres so much with this clip thats completely braindead.

First, the greatest football player that will ever exist, has a giant space in front of him, that i can use to play a quick pass to him into my striker, but instead, he starts backing off and hides behind his midfielder, as im running into the box?

My striker makes absolutely no attempt to get into a passing lane.

My Adeyemi takes 5 seconds to realize that my leftback has won the ball, so hes not even involved in the attack.

Like genuinely what the fuck is the attacking AI in this game? What is the reasoning behind my CAM deciding to run BACK as have a 3v3 attacking scenario?

This cost me a 13-2, btw.

The attacking AI in this game is unbearable.

Like genuinely, i know some people complained about it last year and FC25 too, but so far this year, its absolutely unbearable, theres atleast like 15 times a game where a player has a super obvious space they can take, and they just dont at all? Or a player is free for a pass, you pass them, and they just go hiding behind a defender.

Also one of the dumbest fucking things they've ever done to this game, is make L1 runs just randomly fucking stop, like if you got a player making a good run, you now have to double tap L1 in order for them to keep running, or they will randomly just stop, theres like absolutely no intelligence about how any of these players run, the fact that you have to use L1 manual runs and playerlocks is so infuriating, some things in this game are better of being manual, but attacking AI isnt one of them, the AI should be making intelligent runs for you, you shouldn't have to playerlock every single attack.

Playing div 1-2 is all just L1 through ball to Adeyemi, because theres no intelligence in any of these players, its basically how you have to play.

Looking for a unique piece of art for the Necropolis units, especially the Ghost Dragon?

So in like 2015 or something, i remember seeing this super fucking epic piece of art that somebody made, i think for all the Necropolis units, but the one i specifically remember, is the one they made for the Ghost Dragon or Bone Dragon, it was so haunting and i feel like i remember it being right under the ''window'' or whatever of the building where you purchase them.

I remember looking for this photo a few years ago when i was playing this game during covid, but couldnt find that specific art piece anywhere, i feel like i originally saw it on 9gag?

Does anyone know what im talking about here?

How does Captain America end up here without using the time machine to return?

I've been trying to google this but i'm not really getting the results i want because people are mostly talking about like Doomsday related stuff.

My question is, how can Cap be here without using the machine to get there? The time travel mechanics are very confusing to me, but my understanding of how it works is that you aren't really going back in time, you're going into another reality or whatever bullshit, so Cap goes back, stays there, yet is still able to line up perfectly or whatever with the actual events of the entire MCU and he decides to just pre emptively go to this bench and wait for Sam and them? Its super confusing to me.

Like even trying to think about this confuses me so fucking hard, basically, how is he here without using the machine to get back?

Rittenhouse would've had more support from the left if he was a woman.

With all the Lindsey Clancy bullshit that this sub is crying about 24/7, i got this idea or whatever.

Imagine if Kyle was a girl, and she was about to be attacked by a man, Rosenbaum, who had previously promised to kill her if he found her alone, and then when he does find her alone, he immediately throws a bag at her, and then charges her down, trying to grab her rifle.

I feel like if this is what happened, the support from people on the left would've been way way way more than what actually happened.

Or even if we slightly change it, if Rosenbaum had promised to rape her, and then charges at her and attack her, in that scenario the support from the left would've been even more.

Like obviously i have no way of proving this but i think its true, we got people making up bullshit theories about how this Clancy person is actually innocent, it was actually her husband who killed her kids, and most of the discourse that is ''defending'' her is mostly because she is a woman.

Looking at the FC27 players database without seeing playstyles feels so good.

I know that playstyles are still in FC27, but none of the have been revealed on any player, and im just on futbin looking at some of the cards from the database or whatever, and man its so much more fun without this playstyle bullshit. Theres so many fun and interesting cards that im looking at and it brings back that OG feel (i guess fifa 23 is considered OG at this point) where you're just looking at the stats and seeing what could be a cool card.

Like the Matheus Nunes card, he can play RB and CM, he has 87 pace, 80 passing, 79 dribbling, 78 defending and 75 physical. This sounds like a really cool card, not the best in the defensive stats but he's quick and can pass well with some good dribbling too, like just overall a really cool starter card.

But later when the playstyles are revealed, we'll see that he has press proven, and like, slide tackle, and the card is just bad.

Maaaaaaan i miss looking at all the new cards like this, like seeing some 80 rated player with some kinda cool stats that you can link with someone, playstyles ruin so much of this game, so annoying that we have to sit out an entire year now to see if they will finally remove this bullshit.

Playable terrain generation mods?

I tried JJ thunder like last year because it looked awesome, i love the look but its a bit unplayable because its just waaaaaaaay too big, and also my PC sounded like an airplane trying to load in all that shit (i have a high-end PC).

Right now im looking at trying to start a forever-world or whatever, and i've seen the BigGlobe one that looks promising, also some new mod that apparently copies earth 1:1 which sounds pretty cool, and then there was one more i cant remember. I tried tectonic recently and it was okay, but i wanted something a bit bigger than that.

Is there one that is like, ~20% of JJ thunder, or around there? Because i do love huge huge terrain that makes it a legitimate journey to go somewhere, and obviously the views too.

I just lived through a dream that i had 6 years ago. Literally the exact dream i had just happened in real

This is absolutely fucking insane what happened, i dont have video or anything to prove this obviously but i need to tell someone about it because the odds of this even happening are so incredibly fucking low even i, who is incredibly sceptical about stuff like this, am going like wtf just happened bro.

So, okay, in like 2019 or 2020, i dont remember exactly when, i had this dream i was sitting downstairs on my couch, feeling super scared and confused, in the middle of the night, feeling like something is in the house with me, basically just paranoid and scared and confused, and i was shouting ''Hello?! Hello?!?! Hello!?!!? Hello?!?!?'' Like maybe a little under 10 times, and then someone comes down from the stairs (the staircase is visible from the couch) and says ''Go to bed please'', and then im trying to get up from the couch but i cant for some reason, basically just that classic dream bullshit when you cant move properly, then i fall off the couch to my side, and i stand up, and i go to the stairs and another person comes down, and i give them my phone and tell them ''Bring this [name of my old boss], i forgot to leave it when i quit'', (at the time of this dream, it was right after i had quit my job, and had forgotten to give back my workphone), and the guy in my dream basically just agreed to that.

And, what happened just a few hours ago, IS LITERALLY THE EXACT SAME FUCKING THING, im not even joking, except the person that i was in my dream, was now my grandfather.

So my grandfather has been living with us for just a few days, he has alzheimers and its getting pretty bad, and he's getting into a eldercare home on monday, anyway, he's sleeping on the couch downstairs, and in the middle of the night, i hear him going ''Hello?? Helloooo?'', just like i did in my dream. And then my brother decides to go downstairs to calm him down, and says to him basically ''Go to bed grandpa, come on, its all right'', and then i can hear a little bit of a struggle or something, and my brother is saying ''You wanna get up? Need the bathroom?'' and then i heard a thud of someone falling and my grandpa had apparently fallen to the floor, and thats when i come down because i was worried that he hit his head or something, and as im standing on the staircase, my grandpa comes to me and asks ''Hey man, would you give this to the supervisor please?'' and at this point im realizing a little bit like WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON THIS IS LITERALLY THE DREAM I HAD, and i was just playing along with what he was saying, and i say ''Yeah ill do that''.

I've been trying to rationalize it in my head, i'm not misremembering my dream or filling in the blanks or anything, since i was 17 or so i've kept a dream journal where i write down my dreams especially when they're interesting or if its a nightmare (this is a great way to get ideas if theres any writers reading btw), and everything that i just wrote down previously explaining my dream is pretty much exactly what i wrote when i originally had my dream, and i particularly remember this dream due to how scared i was, just sitting on my couch screaming ''Hello!?!?!''. I've been telling my mom and my friends and everything and this shit is sooooooo fucking freaky, i'm gonna post this to a few other subs because i just feel like sharing this with people.

Conservatives have higher standards for random Democrats online than for Trump.

Something im noticing in a few comments here today is that MAGA people will see someone do literally an exact copy of Trumps rhetoric, but they will only hold that random person on twitter accountable. Or even if its an influencer or someone with a platform or whatever, they're still held to a higher standard than they hold Trump. Its this really weird world where fucking influencers are held to a higher standard of behaviour than the president of the fucking nation. Theres a few thread where im asking conservatives of an example of the left engaging in the same behaviour as Trump, and the examples given are fucking twitter accounts, like are you serious?

I saw a guy in a thread like 2 weeks ago make the statement that HasanAbi needs to be held to a higher standard than Trump, because Trump had assassination attempts, this was a real statement.

Its wild that conservatives demand absolute perfection from completely random liberals on the internet while giving Trump an endless free pass. Some influencer or podcaster, some Twitter random with a 15 followers, those are the people they're scrutinize. But the actual president, no, ofcourse not, its just super based when he tells random american citizens to fuck off, thats just completely cool.

Take Trumps appearance on FOX after Charlie Kirk died. He gets the easiest possible prompt to simply say, ''Political violence is bad''. Thats it. And instead he goes off with, ''Right-wing violence is justified because they're just trying to stop crime. The real issue is left-wing violence''. One of the most unhinged things hes ever said, and somehow conservatives dont even know about it or care at all, or they even agree with that insanity.

Or take Trumps comments about Rob Reiner, MAGA has cried endlessly about how the left are doing Charlie Kirk memes, but the president making fun of an actor that just got murderered? Nah, thats fine, ''its Trump bro'', or even if they dont like it, the critique is ''Trump shouldnt do that, its classless, now let me go back to crying about what this 19 year old socialist from San Francisco on bluesky''

Or, the Mueller comments, Trump says he's glad that Mueller is dead, but thats nothing to conservatives, but you know what is a problem? A random account on the internet saying the same thing about Charlie Kirk.

When MAGA sees someone call a conservative a Nazi on twitter? Oh boy, now thats a real problem, this random twitter user sure is crazy, nevermind that the president is engaging in the same behaviour. Someone being called a Nazi after saying unhinged shit online? Actually, thats a terrorist threat! pretty sure one of the most upvoted posts in the last month of this sub is something along the lines of ''Calling someone a nazi should be classed as domestic terrorism'', conservatives agree with this, btw.

And the way Trump reacts to political violence is just as telling. When Charlie Kirk was killed, Trump instantly jumped into full-on revenge mode saying ''THE LEFT IS DANGEROUS, THIS IS WHAT THEY DO!'' He was blaming ''radical Democrats'' within minutes, at a time when literally nobody knew anything about the shooter. No facts, no context, just immediate weaponization of a political pundit or whatever being killed. But when Democrats demand gun control stuff after a school shooting, the response is ''now is not the time'' lol.

Also, remember when Trump had his assasssination attempt. Biden responded by saying basically, ''This is horrible, we all need to calm things down''. A simple, human, responsible statement, something any adult could do. Trump, meanwhile, seems incapable of even pretending he wants to cool tensions or discourage violence on his side. And when Trump had threats from Iran or whatever, what did Biden do? Immediately increase his secret service protections. But when Trump was in power, what did he do for Kamala? Immediately lower hers.

So yeah, conservatives will spend all day screaming, ''This liberal isnt denouncing violence, what a monster!'' but when it comes to the president of the United States doing the exact same thing, or worse, they dont care. They will point to a compilation of bluesky accounts with 8 followers and say ''Hey look how bad the democratic party is!'', and then sit in silence when i point to actual politicians and lawmakers, or even political commentators on their side saying the same type of unhinged shit. The standards for some random stranger online are somehow higher than the standards for the guy running the country. But apparently, MAGA isn't a cult?

Every single time you see a conservative say something like ''Classic liberal, they have to resort to insults!''

Remember that the guy they voted for and support with every fiber of their being engages in that same behaviour, 50x, he is famous for giving insulting nicknames to political opponents, literally has a wikipedia page for it.

The old tactics were so much better and more fun.

Just making some fun tactics for my pro clubs team atm, and im trying to create like a super attacking one for when we're losing in the last minutes of the game, and does anyone remember on like FIFA 22 (cant remember which fifa remade tactics) and there was one for defenders that was something like ''Will play as an attacker in the last minutes if losing''? Like why isn't this in the game anymore?

Some of the most fun i've had on fifa are these late comebacks on pro clubs where the whole team is just bombing forward, the fix for this atm is just to put yourself and your mates as the defenders, and just rush forward, with the defenders playing as attackers, but man overall, i just miss the old system so much.

I just had my personal experience of Palestine Derangement Syndrome (or whatever you wanna call it)

I was just scrolling my instagram, and i got this video of a girl saying like ''Are you wondering why people are supportive of Spain over Argentina in the world cup, let me explain why!''

And she goes on and on about how Spain is pro-palestine, and how Argentina is more pro-Israel, and shows a video in Gaza of people wearing spanish football shirts and celebrating their earlier games, and other little examples like this.

This is according to her and all the dumbass comments, one of the major reasons why Spain has more support than Argentina. Like im sure it might be a reason for a very very very VERY small group of people, but to pretend that this is even like a top 100 reason why Spain has more support is fucking insane to me.

Is there literally just no topic in the entire world that these people wont make into a Palestine thing? This is insanity

Republicans should be laughed at every time they bring up the national debt

The ones that always bring up the national debt as like a huge problem in the US, are pretty much always Republicans, yet these guys are always the biggest spenders, especially under Trump.

Like, when Trump is gone, he will be responsible for more than a 3rd of the debt.

Trump, in his first term, came in in a good economy, and spent like crazy, and he also did the tax cuts without pairing it with any spending cuts, so this hurt the deficit a lot, like this is a person that does not care at all about the deficit, yet Republicans were parading this guy around like he's some fucking master and is gonna fix the debt.

DOGE was a massive fucking failure, im pretty sure these guys cost us more than they managed to save, they cut USAID which was fucking stupid, and then, thats it? Not to mention that USAID isn't waste/fraud/abuse either, so they just cut programs they didn't like.

Theres no way an intelligent person can look at Trumps first term and go ''Yeah, this guy is definitely going to help out the deficit guys!''

Conservatives need to be made fun of whenever they talk about the deficit being this huge problem, because their candidates always make it WORSE, not better. Remember, the last surplus we had, was under Bill Clinton, and the 2 Democrats presidents after him had to deficit spend like crazy because of the recession and COVID. But apparently we're gonna spend billions on dogshit ass wars, 70 billion on ICE, pump out the Big Beautiful Bill with 5 trillion in spending, expand the tax cuts the reduce our revenue even more, completely gut the IRS, the only thing making us money, and then still pretend like this guy is going to help the deficit? get the fuck out of here.

Anyone else feel like Classic feels like a fanmade mod thats early in development?

Sorry if this has been said already, but like, pretty much the title. This doesn't at all feel like a huge company making a remake of how their game was ages ago, this feels like a really janky fanmade mod thats really early into the development. Does anyone know when Riot started working on this? Because this has to be some rushed thing, theres no way they worked on this for an extended amount of time and just thought ''yeah lets not put in the old models with the old VFX and voice lines, just leave it''.

Everything just looks fucking off, like, you have season 10 characters plopped down into a map from 2008, you got particles/animations that do not belong on the classic map, and then this super weird shit of really modern skins or champions, instead of just putting the classic skins in there too? And even the voice lines, like really? Seeing rework Mundo, with the new voice lines, is not at all ''classic''. Everything is just so weird, if this was like an alpha or beta, it would've been totally acceptable, but doesn't this thing release officially in like 2 weeks? Its like playing Morrowind and then randomly you're seeing a character with its graphics from the Oblivion remaster, its such a strange thing lol

And thats not to mention them just randomly adding stuff from modern league into classic for whatever reason, like i'd be kinda fine with these additions if they atleast captured the vibe of old league, which is hard to say they have when we got 2024 Mundo running around and whatever else

Like i genuinely dont understand how this is even a thing? How hard can it be to get rid of the current model, put in the old ones, that CHRONOSHIFT, A FAN MODE, was able to do?

[Why is it that Chronoshift were able to do this way better, while in mid-development](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=travJdsliDw)?

Also, anyone else feel like the map itself, is kinda off, too? Feels like they've done something to the contrast and saturation and sharpness compared to the actual old map

Any tips on how to make a map feel bigger, how to improve on scale?

I've been kinda stuck when making the map for my world, so i use the Wonderdraft program to make the map, but man, every time i kinda get going (i already have the actual general continents shape and everything), i just kinda get a little bummed out because i feel like i'm just making 2 big islands, they dont really feel like continents to me, if that makes sense?

Does anyone else struggle with this type of problem? And does anyone have any tips for dealing with this type of thing?

When ranking presidents, we absolutely include their legislative accomplishments, right?

I feel like im going crazy, because i've talked/debated about this a few times on another subreddit, and every time i bring up like ''Hey, X is a great president, look at his legislative accomplishments'', i get this really infurating response of like ''ermmm actuackllyyyyy legislation is passed by Congress not the president!''.

And thats something i've heard from way too many people and i feel like im going crazy, like wouldn't LBJ be regarded as like a top 10 worst president of all time instead of a top 10 best one?
