I have two kids. One is in Grade 5, and the other has just started school. I've never attended a parent-teacher meeting. My spouse always goes instead. She often encourages me to attend, but I've never really felt like going. Do you attend your children's parent-teacher meetings? If so, do you find them helpful or worthwhile?

I'm asking this because I was recently hired for a remote job. Before I started, the client told me he has paranoia. Since the work was remote, I didn't think his condition would be an issue.

However, a few days later, he started calling me a liar and accusing me of only caring about money. He then terminated the contract. It was frustrating, but because I knew about his paranoia, I decided to let it go.

Now he wants me to work with him again. Of you were in my position, would you accept the offer, or would you decline and move on?

I'm really into reading literature based on Hindu mythology. I've read many books, including Madhavi, Radha, Jyothi Jyothi Mahajothy, Yojangandha, and many others. I'd love some recommendations for similar books by Nepal authors.

The new government has announced plans to legalize payment gateways like PayPal. Are you already using PayPal? If so, how?

I currently use PayPal to send funds since Nepali PayPal accounts are send-only. I find it easier than using a dollar card. I’ve also received international payments through PayPal by creating an account registered in another country and then withdrawing the funds via Xoom.

I used to read Narayan Wagle's Coffee Guff column and I really liked it. So, when Palpasa Cafe came out, I was excited. It was a good read. However, I didn't like his second book..I don't know if he has third or fourth book. Have you read Narayan Wagle, what do you think about him as a writer and author?

We need carbohydrates for energy, but many of us eat more carbs than our bodies actually need. One reason is that carbs are found in all foods we eat every day. How do you reduce carbs in your diet? Does your kid play sports? Did it come naturally or did you do something to motivate him/her? I played spots as a child and it helped me learn team work and build discipline. I want my kid to take up sports, but sadly, he isn't interested.

I don’t swim and never learned how. I’ve felt embarrassed on several occasions because of my inability to swim. I want to encourage my child to take swimming lessons, but he isn’t interested. How can I motivate him to learn swimming?

I’m finally ready to replace my old couch. I’m looking to upgrade to a U-shape sectional. I have kids and pets, so I need it to be able to hold up to their antics. I’m not worried about cost. I just want it to be durable and comfortable. We spend a lot of time on the couch watching TV.
