When an ex bf monitors you after a breakup and keeps breaking his word to stop but later changes his behaviour can you forgive him?

Could you forgive him or even talk to him again if after some time he changes his behaviour and leaves you alone?

Local police

Any police officers here tell me what it’s really like to work as a cop?

How busy are you really?

Generally do you really you have a lot of down time, sitting at the station, driving around patrolling in the truck/car, driving from welfare checks ect?

My ex was a cop and said they didn’t do a whole lot most of the time.

I see a lot of local cops just sitting around and cruising around all day.

Asking as im considering joining not having a go.

Should I even bother dating in this situation?

46m, single after a long term relationship,
recently became unemployed and currently living with my father at his place.
I rented my place and moved in with my father to care for him after he had a stroke.
But now as im unemployed I can’t afford to move back into my house.

Is this a deal breaker with the woman?
Should I even bother or just wait till im back on feet?

Does anyone else love their partner more than anything but you just can’t fully trust them/ something feels off?

We were together 3.5 years, I love her endlessly, more than anything but I just can’t fully give myself to her, something just won’t let me fully trust her. Im torn between trusting my intuition even though she has done nothing wrong

Is an ex bf who monitored you or stalked you after a breakup forgivable? Could you ever go back to them?

Is that something that can be forgiven?

Could a relationship ever be reconciled after they did something like that?

Why has she chosen to be alone?

She broke up 4.5 months ago after 3.5 years together.

She still says she loves me, she thought we would be together for the rest of our lives, she wanted me to live with her, she wanted to marry me

She says she isn’t happy now, being alone.

I tell her im so in love with her, I want her, I’ll do anything for her. She is my dream girl.

But nothing I do or say she believes, she doesn’t trust me and thinks I’m lying which I’m not!

Why not just choose me and we can have a happy life together?

Im so sad and devastated I just want her back!

Do the dumpers know how much their exs are praying to hear from them?

If you’re the dumper, do you realise how much control/ power you have?
Do you understand how much your ex is desperately hoping for your return or to hear from you?
Or just a ‘i miss u’ text.

Are you aware that the dumpee is hoping and praying, thinking of you constantly and fantasising about your return?

I’m so worried about seeing or sleeping with someone new because I don’t want to ruin a chance of reconciliation

It’s been 4 months since she broke up with me and im trying to move on.
Yes I want her back deep down but she has made it very clear that won’t happen so I know I have to move on but im so worried about dating or sleeping with someone else because I don’t want to ruin any chance of reconciliation if she changes her mind later on…
But then I know I can’t sit and wait in hope.

I know im not actually ready yet anyway if im still thinking like this right?

I’m just worried because im getting older and I don’t want to be alone. I want my partner in life, I have so much love to give to someone right.

If you both loved each other a lot but the relationship was toxic and a lot of arguments do they forget about the troubles and think about coming back?

If you were together a fair amount of time, 3.5 years for me, and both loved each other a lot and cared a lot about each other but the relationship was toxic, with a lot of arguments, trust issues ect.

Does the dumper ever forget or think about coming back after long enough time, after they have had time to forget or think it wasn’t that bad or it was something that could have been resolved or even if they realise it’s hard to find someone else?

4 months and I still can’t accept it’s over. I’m in so much pain!

3.5 years together and she left me 4 months ago.
I’ve never met or loved someone so strongly.

I just can’t get over her, I can’t stop thinking about her non stop for 4 months. I can’t stop loving her, I can’t stop crying every day when it hits me, I can’t give up the thought she might come back even though she has made it very clear that she won’t.
I can’t imagine a future without her.

I’m in so much pain, mentally, physically and emotionally. I can’t sleep, im so anxious, my heart races my stomach feels sick my head aches and my body is shaking and tension in every muscle.

I feel so sad, so alone, so abandoned.

I gave her all of me, all my heart all my love all of me and now im empty and have nothing left. I’m so broken.

I’ve been through many breakups before, even a failed marriage but nothing compares to this.

I know she has chosen to leave but I just can’t get over it.

To the women that reached their limit, gave their all

After reaching your limit, giving it all you could and left after trying,

Did you ever go back or give them another chance after a while apart?

If they put the work in, changed their faults , behaviour or whatever caused the problems.

For context, my gf left me after 3.5 years about 4 months ago after we couldn’t resolve reoccurring issues. Mostly anxieties around trust and communication.

Is it once your done your done forever or is there never say never?

M46 lost my girlfriend f39. I feel like this is my last chance at finding someone special. Has anyone else been in this position and found someone?

We were together for 3.5 years and she was everything i ever wanted in a partner. I loved her endlessly and still do, but she left me about 4 months ago.

I don’t think I’ll ever get over her and I definitely have no interest or intention in any other woman. She was the one I wanted and still want.

I really want a partner in life and I have so much love to give the right person, however it is not going to be her unfortunately.

I fear that I’ll never be able to move on or even be interested in anyone else. The thought of being with someone else just doesn’t interest me and im going to be alone forever.
Being 46 im only getting older and the reality of finding someone else isn’t great.

Anyone been here and did you just have to be happy being alone or did you eventually move on and find someone?
