Compared to my modern bottle, the vintage opens richer, creamier, and much smoother. The vanilla and benzoin feel denser, the almond note is more pronounced, and it has a warm, almost luxurious depth that the modern version just doesn’t capture. The current batch still smells like Pi, but it’s noticeably thinner, sharper, and lacks the same richness.

I’ve had this bottle since 2011 and it’s one of the few fragrances I’ll probably never get rid of. Every time I come back to it, it reminds me why 1 Million blew up in the first place. It’s richer, smoother, and just has more character and depth than the newer bottles. Still smells amazing after all these years.

I’ve been collecting fragrances for well over a decade, and this is my hot take: Abercrombie Fierce is still better than both Montblanc Legend and PDM Percival. I’ve owned all three, worn them extensively, and every time I compare them, I end up reaching for Fierce.

For me, it comes down to the musk. Fierce has this smooth, creamy, addictive musky backbone that gives it its identity. Legend and Percival smell like they cleaned up the DNA, but in doing so they lost what made Fierce special.

Fierce just feels more complete. Everything blends together perfectly, and nothing feels out of place. It’s one of those fragrances that just feels right; like the DNA was perfected the first time.

The only downside is the performance. Modern Fierce doesn’t last like it used to, but I’d rather overspray or put a few sprays on my shirt than wear something that lasts longer but doesn’t smell as good to me.

I know it’s an unpopular opinion, but Fierce is still the king of this DNA.

Just wanted to share the new Reflection 45 bottle design since there’s not many pictures around. The old bottle design was incredible, but this is much more simplistic and matches the rest of the line better, so I’m not mad at it. A step down in opulence but looks great imo.

Also, happy to report the scent remains unchanged.
