2018 Porsche Macan base - questions about maintenance?

Hey everyone. I just bought a 2018 Porsche Macan base with 115,000 miles on it. It is my first Porsche, and I am wanting to do a full service on it. So far, this is what I have listed to get or do.

- oil change
- pdk fluid
- pdk gear oil
- transfer case fluid
- diff fluid
- spark plugs
- air filter
- tires
- brake fluid

Am I missing anything? Should I replace anything while I’m there?

Also, where are you guys getting the pdk fluid and gear oil?

Got my first Porsche!!

It’s nothing special. 2018 Porsche Macan, base model. But I’ve wanted a Porsche all my life and it’s a start. I got a steal on it, and I’m so proud of it.

I can’t wait to get my second Porsche one day!

Desk lamp recommendation?

I got a free desk. This is my workspace. I have absolutely nothing 😂 I’m wanting to spruce it up, eventually get plants and a desktop. But for now a lamp is NECESSARY. I would like it unique or cozy, and an adjustable brightness would be nice. Under $50 if possible. It would most likely go in the corner. Any recommendations??

TIA!

Is there a way to temporarily turn off my emotions?

My partner of 3 years admitted he’s lost romantic feelings for me. He has two kids and I started college recently and don’t have a job, and I can’t go anywhere and he doesn’t know what to do because his kids and I have a really good relationship. I still want him and see a future, but it’s obvious that he doesn’t not. And I have no choice to be here for a while. It hurts every day to stay around someone I want when he doesn’t want me in the same way anymore. How can I turn off my emotions temporarily until this situation gets figured out so I’m not hurt all the time?

Places to live for someone on one income?

Hey everyone. I won’t get into details, but I need to at least start looking at ideas for a place to live in case my current situation ends.

I am a 24yr old woman, with a part time job and I’m going to Polk state college. I need to stay in the area, but I make very minimal income and I’m not sure what options I have.

Can someone help me out please or give some Knowles or advice? TIA!

I’m at a loss - need help!! Picky skin - can’t help sebaceous filaments? [routine help] [product request]

My face routine:
AM:
Purpose face wash, Clindamycin, La Roche Posay Double Repair Moisturizer with UV.
PM: Purpose face wash (or Joesoefs Acne Wash), Tretonoin, Cetaphil basic moisturizer.

I have huge pores and TERRIBLE sebaceous filaments. I also seem to get oily easily, but I also randomly get dry if I don’t use my moisturizer. So I’m careful on what to add. How can I add to my routine and get rid of the sebaceous filaments?
Serum? Exfoliant? Toner? BHA?

New to this - primer trouble, maybe??

Hey everyone. I need some help. I’m getting into skincare and makeup more, since I never really have. Just the absolute minimum.

I have been using Cetaphil daily wash and basic moisturizer for a while, with tret or Clindamycin in between. I have been using Milk Hydrogrip Primer and Clinique foundation and it’s great. Keeps my foundation on all day long. But oh my god, my face gets SOOO oily!!! It gets shiny and extremely slick and nasty-feeling once half the day goes by, and blotting doesn’t help. I have combination skin - either it’s super oily, super dry, or certain parts is each, no matter what I do. I have extremely large pores (which I have no idea how to battle), Im not sure if that’s a contributing factor.

I switched moisturizers, since my derm recommended it. I use La Roche Posay Double Repair Moisturizer with UV. The primer still does the same thing, so I’m definitely thinking it’s that… is it my face that’s oily, or the primer?
What primers can I use in place of Milk that’s good for preventing shininess and oiliness while still holding on to foundation all day?

[product question] Which moisturizer? I’m so confused..

I’m just starting to actually get into face and hair care. I don’t know much about a lot.

So I went to see a dermatologist and I told her I use Cetaphil daily wash and basic moisturizer with Tret and Clindamycin alternating. She suggested that I use La Roche Posay Double Repair Moisturizer because she doesn’t like Cetaphil. I have combination skin - sometimes it’s super dry, sometimes it’s extremely oily. Even if I do the same thing every day. The Cetaphil moisturizer made my skin feel great, but then my skin would be wayyy to shiny and oily half the time. She suggested LRP mainly because of the ingredients but also because it was oil free. What are your thoughts? After researching, I see that both have had mixed experiences with everybody. So I’m using LRP now unless I realize it’s not something I should be using…

Help! What to do for curly hair and frizz??

Hey everyone. I am new to treating my hair, so I have no idea where to start!!

This is my natural hair. If I wash it with shampoo and conditioner and brush it after I get out and leave it alone (brush it with towel quick and air dry), this is what it’s like.

Routine:
I use Herbal Essences - Argan Oil shampoo and matching conditioner every other day. That’s it.

I’m not sure what gel to use afterwards, and what shampoo or conditioner is best that is budget friendly.

Please let me know where I should start! I am at a loss. Thank you so much in advance!

I’m starting a routine - what products are best? [product help] [routine help] [product request]

Hello everyone. For starters, I’ve never had a routine for my face. Ive tried using different cleansers over the years, but nothing else. Im 23F and I want to take better care of myself so here we are.
Right now all I’m doing is cleaning with Cetaphil basic wash, applying Clindamycin in the morning and Tret at night, and daily moisturizing lotion from Cetaphil afterwards. It works great for pimples (except I break out BAD before my period) but not for my sebaceous filaments (which are horrendous), my skin tone and dark spots, and my hydration. So I’m reworking this.

I’m starting by getting benzoyl peroxide and salicylic acid for when I have breakouts. I’m wanting to get the niacinamide serum because I’ve seen a lot about it, maybe hyaluronic acid. I’m trying to find a good toner as well. I’m also trying to find a moisturizer that isn’t so heavy - my face dries out quick, but also gets shiny whenever I apply even a little of the moisturizer. It also gets oily quick, which I don’t understand…

So overall my questions are these:
What toners and moisturizers are best to start off with?
How should I work my routine?
What other things should I add or take away?
Should I consult a dermatologist for all of this? I also have terrible KP and acne on arms I’m wanting to treat.

Newbie - How to create a routine?

Hello, I am a 23F who is 5’11 and weighs 150.
I weight more than I would like and I’m seeing a change in my body (fat in my stomach, can’t fit in my clothes, not as strong as I used to be.)
I do not have access to a gym and don’t have much at home, except for two dumbbells (5lb & 20lb). I’m not sure what is the best way to lose weight, gain strength, or increase my muscle, and I have NO idea where to start. Can I have some assistance please? TIA!

[Miscellaneous] Wedding today - open wound on face!

I was invited to a wedding and this wound was closing up, but I was extracting my face last night and accidentally went over it. Woke up this morning and it’s just as bad and leaking a little bit. How can I make this less noticeable by this afternoon???

(Not asking for medical advice)

Invited to wedding in 2 days - what to do?

I had a large pimple/zit about a week ago. I p0pp3d it (yes, I know I shouldn’t but it’s a bad habit and it was large). It’s been draining slowly, and I’ve been using a hydrocolloid patch. The area is raised. What can I do to help it heal and how to cover it for a wedding in 2 days?

(I’m not asking what it is, just what I can try for the zit and how to cover it.)

Side note, HOW do I get rid of the black things on my skin? I’m pretty sure they’re sebaceous filaments but they’re covered on my nose and chin and I’m tired of it. My routine is below. Can’t seem to get rid of them. Please help!!

AM:
Cetaphil daily wash
Clindamycin
Cetaphil daily moisturizer (maybe SA Exfoliating if I feel it’s needed)

PM:
Cetaphil daily wash
Tretonoin
Cetaphil daily moisturizer

Just found this sub! Tripod says hi 🖤

He is the craziest, most talkative, and the absolute most cuddly kitty ever. He follows the sun around the house, is obsessed with pens and Bobby pins, loves playing, and needs to be protected when he eats. He also has his own window.

He is a spoiled brat, and gets (almost) anything he pleases 😂. He can also be a menace but he is such a huge part of our family. He is so loved 🖤
