With friends outside our main jobs we decided to start working on our first game, without much experience in game development. We came up with a cool idea, as it seemed to us, and decided to have fun doing it. In two months we made the game. When we entered pre‑release and published the Steam page, we got 200 wishlists, at the moment of the game's release we had 800 wihslists. And now, already the fifth day after release, we have sold our game at 2000+ copies! This is an incredible feeling. My hands are still shaking :D
I watched for three hours straight as people played our game on Twitch and I couldn't tear myself away. It's a very strange feeling. Probably it's similar to the feeling when your child takes their first steps

Made a tiny Windows dictation app. Decided to open it up to 100 more people.

It started as a tiny app for me and a friend. We wanted decent dictation without an overpriced $20/month subscription that keeps having those "longer than usual" moments. And one I could easily switch to a local model with, whenever I needed.

It's voice-to-text. Hold a hotkey, talk, get the text instantly. What I'm most happy about: the compact design, like a personal companion, not a huge app stuffed with features

Inside is Smart Editor: dictate a draft and tell the model what to do with it. "Make it shorter", "translate to English", "cut the fluff" etc.

As part of the soft launch I'm opening access for the first 100 people, glad to have you in the test. 14 days of Pro free: cloud transcription, auto-polish, Smart Editor. After the Trial ends, you can keep using the local model free forever, or grab the cheapest subscription I'll ever offer at $5/month (exclusive to the 100 soft-launch participants)

Local mode: full faster-whisper on your machine, offline, zero network calls.
Smart Editor and auto-polish needs the cloud cause the model is too heavy to run locally

Help with displaying files in Directory Opus

Somehow I accidentally enabled sorting by characters "0-9" "A-H" "I-P", and now I can't figure out how to turn it off

Me and my friends put together a little game in two months, with zero gamedev experience between us, and I figured I'd share it here.

It's a co-op where you and your friends play mushrooms growing in the same forest clearing. Your voice feeds the mycelium - speak into the mic and you grow faster. But noise also pulls in unwelcome guests, so when a forager wanders in with a basket, your only move is to shut up and pretend you're not there. We also tossed in a mushroom generator that rolls everyone a completely random mushroom at the start, so the universe basically decides your size for the day.

No quests, no bosses. Just you, the forest, and everyone who lives in it.

Releasing in May. We're polishing right now - though honestly the best part of testing is just roasting my friend every time he draws an unfortunate size 🍄
