🎮 HandheldAtlas Soft Launch Is Live

Over the past few weeks I’ve been building HandheldAtlas — a community-driven database focused on handheld gaming.
The goal isn’t just another list of settings.
It’s to build a place where handheld players can share:
• Benchmarks
• Game presets
• Battery life testing
• Optimization guides
• Real-world device experiences
The first feedback from Reddit has already helped shape new features and confirmed something interesting:
People don’t just want “best settings.”
They want to understand why those settings work.
So now we’re looking for a few early contributors who enjoy:
🔧 Testing games
📊 Benchmarking
🎮 Creating presets
📚 Writing guides
🧪 Finding bugs and improving the platform
We already have a Discord with benchmarking guides, testing workflows and community discussions.
If you’d like to help build something useful for the handheld gaming community while it’s still in its early stages, we’d love to have you involved.

I’ve been building a handheld gaming database because I got tired of searching through dozens of Reddit posts for settings

Hey everyone,
For the last few months, I’ve been working on a project called HandheldAtlas.
The idea came from a simple frustration: every time I wanted to find good settings for a game on my ROG Ally, Steam Deck, or another handheld, I ended up jumping between Reddit threads, YouTube videos, Discord servers, random websites, and old forum posts.
The information was there, but it was scattered everywhere.
So I started building a place where benchmarks, game presets, recommended settings, handheld guides, device information, and eventually community submissions could live in one place.
The project is still very early, and I’m not posting links because I’d rather get honest feedback first than turn this into an advertisement.
I’m curious:
• How do you currently find settings for your handheld games?
• What’s the most frustrating part of the process?
• What do you think is missing from the handheld gaming ecosystem right now?
• What would make a database like this genuinely useful to you?
I’d appreciate any feedback, criticism, or ideas.
Thanks!

I’ve been building a handheld gaming database for the past few months. Looking for feedback.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been working on a project called HandheldAtlas — a database and community hub focused entirely on handheld gaming devices like Steam Deck, ROG Ally, Legion Go, MSI Claw and others.

The goal is to collect:

• Game settings
• FPS benchmarks
• TDP profiles
• Battery life data
• Community presets
• Guides and tips

It’s still early and there are definitely things that need improvement, so I’d love to hear what features you think are missing from existing handheld gaming websites.

Website: [handheldatlas.com](http://handheldatlas.com/)

Any feedback is appreciated.

PS. More games are added on daily basis.
