Nintendo Switch 2 - Mankar not spawning in Paradise... (WARNING! For the love of God, don't try to kill him in Dagon Shine!!)

So, when I saw Mankar back in "Dagon Shine" I tried to snipe him with my bow. He did not die, but he also did not enter the portal to Paradise.. Fast forward 15 hours of playing, and I am in Paradise looking to kill him. But guess what, his throne is empty and he is nowhere to be found... I start googling, and this glitch has been present for 20 years. Why in the world did they not fix it in the remaster? Now I have to start over from the beginning of the game..

No car rental with insurance for dirt roads?

I am going to crete for a week, and our hotell is in an area without busses so we need to rent a car. The road to the hotell is a dirt road, and we are also going to Balos which requires driving on a dirt road. I checked with about 10 car rental companies and they all consider driving on dirt roads "off road" and no matter how much I pay, insurance wont cover any accident that happens on dirt roads.. Seems kind of scammy to me? Is there no company that offers insurance for dirt road? Google and chat gpt told me about 2 companies but chat gpt was wrong, they don't...

We will arrive and depart from Chania airport, and stay in the western side of the island.

M12 HD fixed with updates?

I know there was some problem with M12 HD for Switch 2 only charging if docked and the switch was on, not in sleep mode. Has this issue been fixed?

Also, will they charge if the Switch is just being charged with a USB-C (and the switch is off)? I play 99% handheld so I usually charge with a USB-C cable, not with the dock because the dock just ends up scratching the screen.. :(

Also, I am having a hard time understanding the power save mode? Why would I not use it? I mean if the battery runs out from the controllers, I can just turn it off and drain battery from the console, right?

Cheers!

Looking for game recommendations based on a few JRPGS that I liked

I am looking for turn based Japanese role playing games with pixel graphics. They need to have a physical Switch 1 release.

Games already in my collection: Dragon quest 1-3 2DHD. Sea of Stars. Octopath Traveler 1/2/0. Live a Live. Final Fantasy 1-6 Pixel Remaster.

(Chained Echoes looks awesome but it's not available in the EU and too expensive to import from the UK).

Todays purchase - Dragonquest I & II HD-2D Remake

My very first JRPG.. The "2D-HD" thing really spoke to me as an 80's/90's gamer.. So also ordered Octopath Traveler 1+2 and waiting for them to arrive!

The reversible cover is cool.

Pre-ordered "Xeno Crisis" and it arrived today, on the release day!

I was a bit dissapointed, this new re-release of Xeno Crisis was supposed to include a collectors coin, but it's nowhere to be found? (See last page for coin which was supposed to be included, from the sellers website)

Wandering Village getting a physical release next month.

Seems like it's just a US release :( I only found it in one EU store and the standard edition was almost 100$ with shipping.. I assume that is not worth it?

My Switch collection. In my opinion, it's the best video game console ever created.

It is just so easy to bring anywhere with the bag I bought, and with a massive library there is always something for everyone. 100+ games with only one double (Diablo 3 which I use to play local co-op with 2 consoles when traveling).

3 of these games requires internet download... LA Noire, Borderlands 3 and Need For Speed Hot Pursiot Remastered. I would not have bought them if I knew it beforehand but I am too lazy to send 'em back..

I currently have these games on preorder:

- Xeno Crisis

- Castlevania Belmont's Curse

- MARVEL MaXimum Collection

- Sacred 2 Remastered

My Switch collection just hit 100 games! In my opinion, it's the best video game console ever created.

It is just so easy to bring anywhere with the bag I bought, and with a massive library there is always something for everyone. I use my switch for:

- Co-op in docked mode, mainly 2 player. The Pro controllers are great for this!

- Singleplayer games in handheld, with the OLED + Mobapad M6 you really get a new level of portable gaming.

- Local multiplayer in handheld, with games like Diablo 3. So much fun if you are traveling with a friend. Got a Lite + OLED for this purpose.

- Party games in docked mode with up to 8 people, the convenience of being able to split the joy cons is just amazing and it's easy to collect enough controllers for 8 people.

I also own 3 downloaded games. 1 came with a physical and the other 2 I bought with points that I collected from the physical titles, so I never paid for them.

The games I played the most hours:

- Animal Crossing New Horizon

- Diablo 3

- Dead Cells

- Stardew Valley

- Dave The Diver

I currently have these games on preorder:

- Xeno Crisis

- Castlevania Belmont's Curse

- MARVEL MaXimum Collection

I will buy Switch 2 when there are at least 10 physical titles that I want (not game-key card titles).

Any co-op tournaments/campaign etc?

I just got this game and have never played it before. I got it because my brother played it as a kid and loved it. He got an unfortunate medical diagnosis two weeks ago so now we are just trying to chill and relive our childhood. We found that we can play "Team Battles" 2 vs 2 CPU which is kinda fun, but tends to get old quick. We found the "Tournament" but were a little dissapointed because it's 1vs1 not 2vs2 so we just look at each other play against CPU. Is there any 2 player VS 2 CPU mode besides the team battle? Preferably something with a goal of unlocking new fighters, or a tournament/campaign thing. I'll be honest, the whole game menu kinda confuses me LOL! Thanks guys and have a lovely summer!
