What are some of the wildest "this is a souls-like" youve heard?

Im not talking "Salt and Sanctuary is a Souls-like" or "Is Hollow Knight a Souls-like?".

Im talking about the weird mis-IDing. The really cryptic ones that you cant wrap your head around. Top one for me is my buddy is CONVINCED Palworld is a fresh new take on Souls games. He even thinks Pals are just a variant on how Code Vein gives you companions.

What about yall?

Veterans partner's pain getting worse. Doc says to wait till January. How can I help?

Hi all!

I (36F) have a girlfriend (34F) who is in extreme pain. She can barely stand for more than 5 minutes and sitting up even causes nausea. Due to below, without her walker shes also now a fall risk.

Before we begin, I have no experience in civilian side healthcare. I was born into a veteran family, seen by veteran docs and the served and retired through the military. I dont know this side at all.

We've gone through a ton of testing over the last 5 months, all back clean. We've visited the ER 7-8 times, with the last being after extreme nerve pain along her right side. They sent us home after determining it wasnt a stroke.

Here's the gist:

Her symptoms are getting worse and her senses on her right side are diminishing. Primary care is doing what she can - real champion honestly - but next neurology appointment is in January.

I dont know if she makes it to January without help.

How can I get her care?

TLDR: Extreme nerve pain along right side. Cannot walk. Doc says to hold tight till January. Can't wait without permanent damage, how do I help.

What does the Putrid Mother want?

Hi all!

On my second rotation of Lords of the Fallen and Im toying with which ending to go with. In my first go around, I sides with my boy Adyr because it seemed more compelling and honestly Damarose scratched an itch. Now Im back with my dex/inferno build and considering going umbral, but:

I dont know anything about the Putrid Mother. I know its an ending option and that our umbral buddy is awaiting her chosen, that's it.

I get the feeling she's some form of primordial or eldritch deity due to the way the umbral is, but that's all I know. I suspect she wants to return the universe to mulch. Is there more than that? Did I miss anything?

Girlfriend wants me to play Cyberpunk 2077 for her. What quests should I ensure to hit?

Hi all!

My girlfriend cant really play Cyberpunk 2077 due to a disability. She loves the genera - her favorite movie is Blade Runner for example - and Ive offered to play it for her and stream it.

She gets to choose all dialogue choices and such but wants me to curate which quests. Obviously, we're doing the main story and Songbirds whole deal - I just got phantom but I hear shes a treat. What other quests or hidden gems would you recommend?

Thank yall so much in advance!

Why do you love/hate Tom King's run of Wonder Woman?

Hi all!

Did some looking and, oh boy, there are a lot of decisive opinions on the 2022 - present run ot Wonder Woman!

Now, obviously, theres numerous posts largely hating on Tom Kings run, but very few that arent addressing a specific point, by a confused outsider or about his CIA work; additionally even less about why people like the run. So, I'm asking:

Why do you love this run?

Or

Why do you hate this run?

I think right now would be a good time to discuss what the fandom liked/disliked about the arcs/storybeats; especially since we're coming up on issue 40, which historically is when most writers leave Wonder Woman and a new team takes over - very likely as King has been tapped for several treatments in the movie/TV show universe.

Additionally, Im doing a read through of his run now along with Absolute Wonder Woman as part of a cross sectional analysis of feminist literature in present day comics. Ill probably doing an episode on YouTube about the run and why its divisive, so hearing from folk for either is really helpful!

Replies Id like to avoid:

- "Cause it sucks" - unhelpful and not very descriptive. Tell me why you dislike it, not that its bad

- "Tom King is a known CIA operative who in-" Outside of interviews on why he make X writing discision, Im really not interested in the man himself.

- "Go read" - Im doing that atm, Im hoping this'll supplement said reading.

Thank you all so much and I hope to read/reply soon!
