I already tried going to the media gallery, pressing options on the file and selecting download to PlayStation App. However, that didn’t work and it’s been taking 20+ minutes so I just canceled it. Is there any other way?

AITA for refusing to pay for my friend’s phone after they dropped it?
I (19M) was hanging out with a friend (20M) at a café. He asked if he could see my new phone because he was thinking about buying the same model. I handed it to him, and after looking at it for a minute, he gave it back.
A few minutes later, he asked if I could hold his phone while he went to order another drink. I said sure. When he came back, I handed it back, but he fumbled it and dropped it onto the tile floor. The screen shattered.
He immediately said it was my fault because I “should have warned him” that I was handing it over. I don’t think that’s reasonable. I held the phone securely until he grabbed it. He simply lost his grip.
Now he’s asking me to pay half the repair cost, and a couple of our mutual friends think I should just do it to keep the peace. I don’t think I should pay for someone else’s mistake.
