Hobbit Bonus Card Specualtion Mentions

For everyone saying that the Unseen Bonus Card will be Mithril Coat, that doesn't make sense because that is not what makes Bilbo invisible. it either has to be a One Ring or a Treasure Token.

Again at the and of the description it says: "Just mind your step. There are older things than goblins in the deep places of the world, and some treasures are better at finding keepers than being found."

Or we get shafted and I paid 120+ for 13 dollars worth of cards. They're beautiful at least.

Edit: nor Whisper Silk Cloak, it doesn't line up flavor wise or with the riddle. The whole point of being "Unseen" is the One Ring. This Isn't Harry Potter smh

Hobbit Secret Lair just now shipped and instead of UPS they're using Fedex Ground.

I've ordered many Lairs that have come through USPS or UPS but it's probably *too expensive* to ship with those two. I despise Fedex Ground and I just know stuff will be damaged or stolen. This is a horrible switch.

Theory: Secret Lair x The Hobbit: He Who Walks Unseen Out of Sight Foil Edition

On the secret lair site this is said at the end of the description: "Just mind your step. There are older things than goblins in the deep places of the world, and some treasures are better at finding keepers than being found."

Which leads me to believe that this COULD be a hint at the bonus card being something having to do with the One Ring whether it be a Sol Ring or an actual The One Ring. The card I chose to display also shows that a yellow/gold treatment can be done for this lair SO I think there is a chance of getting something really special here.

TCGPLAYER used the aboslute worst photo for the most beautiful Utopia Sprawl by Mark Poole and I think it needs done justice because it's so amazing.

This is the Photo that TCGPLAYER uses and my lord does it look like shit. The second photo is Scryfall's which is a massive improvement but still doesn't do the card justice.

NOW IS THE TIME TO BUY ANYTHING THAT'S NOT THE HOBBIT

I've been seeing youtube shorts of Pokemon vendors switching to Magic lately which is a bad sign if you want cheaper cards. You should pick up your chase cards and specs soon because the Hobbit Crash is coming and ALL of that money will be going to actual rare cards and collector precons. which by the way are an easy 50-100% return YoY. Wizards did print the ever loving fuck out of the Hobbit because they love money, if you actually think they didn't you're delusional.

Also, Highly sought after secret lairs are unstoppable right now. Goblin Storm just hit the max capacity and is still trending up, Raining Cats and Dogs is almost 600 sealed and card value is near 800.

It's not that complicated guys, you don't have to buy the Miku deck and hold it for 5 years to make 100 buckaroos. Buy the older stuff that appreciates a solid percentage YoY.

EDIT: Instead of mass downvoting please tell me why I'm wrong. Just because you love the Hobbit doesn't mean it's valuable. Some of you seem to forget that this is a FINANCE SUB wtf.

Spec For Upcoming Miku Deck That I Have Not Seen.

Solid spec that is already limited in supply and plays perfectly right into the deck. just food for thought.

Spec: Forsaken Crossroads

MB2 is out of print, Maro said that they are still deciding which silver bordered and acorn cards are non problematic. This land if made legal would be a day one staple in all commander decks. Also, did I mention that this card is rare as hell?

Edit: Apparently none of you know how to read: ENTERS TAPPED ONLY IF YOU WERE THE STARTING PLAYER. That means free untapped mana of any color 75% of the time. as long as you are NOT the Starting Player

Does equipment like Orcrist, Goblin-Cleaver stay attached to the commander when it's transformed?

PSA: I am Begging you, EVEN IF you're a trek fan DO NOT BUY THIS at $900

These prices are practically a scam DO NOT fall for this! UB brings in a lot of knew buyers that don't know better. These will fall to half this price or maybe less, I garuntee.

While everyone is obsessed with LOTR, FF and Hobbit, you're overlooking a great play.

Everyone is obsessed with these big sets because of the serialized inside them + the content creators going nuts opening pretty much everything under the sun. But, if we take a look at Warhammer ANYTHING, the return has been at or over 100% per year and currently is spiking due to almost notging sealed being left.

It's coming up on 5 years since the first round which means There is a chance that we see more in 2027 for 40k's 40th anniversary. I already know a lot of you are going to shit on the surge foils curling but that's not stopping them from being purchased if you look at all the history. Necron Dynasties is almost going for $700 now and I only see upside, Plus dude the cards are absolutely beautiful.

One of the worst financial moves possibly in Magic history

I wanted to discuss what I believe to be the worst financial move in Magic history:

Ben Bateman.

We have all watched this man trade almost his entire collection which included a black lotus, for a serialized One Ring Borderless Poster graded 9.5. He then thought he was making a statement by cracking the slab which was going for over 100k to put in his deck to play with regularly.

Not much later, he begins making videos about opening LOTR Holiday packs to try to make his money back from trading his old collection.

Currently he is spending much less and is opening the regular LOTR collector boosters.

I think about this every now and then and say "wow, that was fucking stupid lol"

EDIT: Guys I'm not Bateman, I wish I was because *money* but I'm not. You're paranoid lmao

Any thoughts on if we're going to see Warhammer round 2?

The Original decks and secret lairs are scarce and was thinking that it's about time for another set right? I'm thinking we might see it in 2027.

Things I've noticed this week, diminishing supply of high end cards.

I'll Just list the things I've seen, Secret Lair everything has been moving like crack in Brooklyn NY 1978.

Veil of Summer from Back in My Day is currently being bought out

Angels They're Just like us deck sealed is almost out and reaching about $800 sealed

Goblin & Squabblin foil sealed has about 12 left on TCGPlayer currently going for $500+ and due to the incredible fame that Wizard of Barge has gotten from the Goblin Storm deck, I think these cards will be in high demand for years to come.

Is this a good deal given it's the largest amount I can buy at once? I really only see upside since this isn't getting reprints.

Can't find large quantities for cheap because shipping is fucking insane. this is the only listing I can find, Thoughts on long term? I know EB02 has been crushing it and I'm thinking about pulling the trigger on this.
