Some workers and I moved around some old wood in a dirt field in Texas and this little guy was hobbling around… I think it might be injured.. so I decided to take it and buy an enclosure and cork wood and some feeder crickets.
I worried the little guy will croak. Does anyone know if they can heal or recover a leg or something if it’s injured?thanks

You guys aren’t kidding with the snake method! Coming from a stick burner, man this is TOO EASY! I set my Inkbird between 230-270 and it stayed around 240-247 consistently for about 2 hrs so far. This is my first peek to spritz if needed and add my meat probes. The stealth gets its cherry popped with this one!…..

Pic is half side coals and it cooked these baby’s at around 400 (lid temp) too hot for a long smoke sesh BUUT my question is how does everybody prefer to smoke a brisket,butt,ribs,etc? I wanna do a brisket but not sure if I should do meat in middle and coals on each side,one side coals one side meat, full snake,half snake? I’m used to fire box smokers with wood splits so gotta a learning curve here. And if I do half side, do I just light a few coals or all coals but put less? Which one needs to add coals more often if needed? Really appreciate you brahhs 🍻

I asked for suggestions a few weeks back on a blue dial for my collection and received lots of cool feedback. This was the one I chose!

I see a lot of nice chicken thighs around the grill with nice crisp on top. Is that without flipping and the vortex doing its thing? Do you flip it or it radiates from top and bottom?
Also does anyone use a vortex without the removable center grill under the grate? One more how would the vortex be for a reverse sear steak as opposed to just ones side direct/indirect, does it cook the perimeter more than one side coal method? 🙏

I’ve been wanting a kettle for some years now since someone stole my gold 22” premium kettle but man idk the prices were like this now! Is the 26” master touch and the ash pan more worth the price difference than a 22” premium or original kettle? I know it’s “whatever you wanna spend” but just gauging experience and opinions..

Havnt got my gold chain yet but was wondering if anyone wears a gold tone watch with a silver necklace. I have one gold tone watch but never wear it. Feels off. Does anyone wear that combo? What yall think?
