What's your ideal number of times running a raid/phase length?

What's your ideal number of times running a raid/phase length?

How many times would you like to run a raid for a phase?

Personally I think that running a raid 8 - 10 times feels about right. More than that and it becomes pretty boring

Was curious how long a raiding phase should be and what people felt was an ideal number of lockouts

Edit: based on the answers so far I was surprised to learn that for many it is simply getting loot that is fun. So as long as they are getting loot they continue..for some the raid itself isn't really enjoyable even it seems, but a means to an end

This is fascinating to me. I'm not disparaging this perspective, I just didn't expect it

Looking to start beekeeping, but where do I start?

My father in law has a pecan orchard in Chihuahua and I thought that setting up some bees would be a good idea there

Where exactly do I start researching everything we would need to know?

What questions should I be asking and finding answers for?

Idea for new Keyword: Primal (Basic Land Synergy)

Had an idea for a new Keyword: Primal

The idea is that if a card is paid for using basic lands, it gains its primal ability

Like:

G1

  • 3/3
  • Primal: If G was paid for by a basic land, this card gains Trample

Or

U

  • 1/1
  • When this card attacks, scry 1
  • Primal: If U was paid for by basic lands, this card gains flying

Thought it could be a fun way to promote basic lands back into the game

2 / 3 Split on 2 lane Maps

Don't be afraid to do a 2/3 split on 2 lane maps and pivot your draft around this

Up through Diamond the meta of a 1/4 split is so hard engrained that many enemy teams don't know how to correctly respond to this

It works particularly well when there is some sustain healing in both lanes

For example you could go Uther and Valla in top lane with Jo / Anduin / Kaelthas bottom lane or something like that

I've won a lot of 2 lane map games simply because the enemy team kept their 1 v 4 strat where we simply countered their setup

Classic + : Jewelcrafting Discussion

I feel that JC could fit very well into a Classic + by making Rings, Amulets, and some Trinkets

Because it came on so early, in TBC, it still feels very much Classic

Probably not the gem cutting aspect of it since gear doesn't have sockets anyway but there are ways to make it work

Curious on what people think about this

Fun 60 card precons I can pickup for not too much

Going on a trip with my brother in law, who plays commander almost exclusively but thought it would be a fun time to get some 60 card decks and precons to play during the flight

Any suggestions on some that are fun, about the same power level, and affordable/available?

Let's all go in blind to Classic +

I want to encourage everyone to go into Classic + blind once it comes out

My aim is to recapture as much of that sense of adventure as much as possible from OG (as close as we can get)

No leveling guides or loot tables, no watching streamers or tier lists; just exploration and finding new things

Maybe even play a race or class you've never tried to enhance the feeling

Read the quest.text, talk to NPCs, make friends

Maybe the middle ground is not looking things up at least until raid content for the best of both worlds

What I think our next encounter with EM will be like

I think that the next time we see EM will be our R&M breaking him out of prison

Here's the catch: from his perspective it will only have been like 15 seconds

Because of the way that time works there, they will simply pick him up right after he got locked up so he won't be too upset. He also probably figured this to be the case so he isn't making a big deal being in there in the first place

Widowless Wednesday

Thinking about how there are no new episodes for some time, might make Wednesdays specifically about theories for the next season and keep track of them to see which come true

Post your favorite S2 theories here, upvote the ones you like!

I hope that Snowball is a recurring character

Kind of hoping that he goes with Morty back to his world and lives in their house again

Would be an interesting new dynamic to the house

The absolute best part of S5: The Legend

His speech and entire interaction with Homelander was incredible

The only thing that I honestly would have changed in it was the Vought Life Alert part.

I would have had him realize he could track it after letting The Legend go and appearing defeated, then we see him realize he has hope again

Everything else about the scene was flawless

A creative Malganis Balancing fix: Blind as a Bat final hit change

When Blind as a Bat is active and hits with its final Q, rather than Stun it causes them to run from Malganis feared for what would have been the stun duration

This keeps the ability strong while preventing a solo-perma stun CC situation, and still applying a form of CC. Because they run from Malganis they can't be simply group perma stunned by himself

Is if they get locked up together

The Deep is very insecure and leading this manosphere life. Having to be locked up with a woman of vastly superior intelligence would be poetic

Sage wants to be left alone mostly, with intelligent conversation...which she will never get with The Deep
