am investing in a project and the plan was to take out a loan (heloc) to pay for some of the parts and eventually take It to kickstarter funding to pay for the acquired assets, and other such things.

I applied for said loan. Then rapidly acquired assets on a credit card. So my credit score dropped 24 points from very good to good. Now that in itself won’t get me denied, but the advice I have been granted from brief internet tomfoolery is “stop spending immediately” and be wholly transparent.

So, I’m panicking because the plan was to pay off the existing credit and work towards paying for the project (approval was for 100k, grand total cost for it might be 60k) and in the middle of it go kick starter for the rest.

Now I wonder if I’ll even be approved. Really in a pickle here.

I had a stable super well paying job for 2 years, then I ended up getting a new job which pays less because I got fired. Even with that it says pre-approved, but even with that I might be screwed.

Just I don’t know what to do, I really don’t want this to fall apart.

Setting is techno feudalistic high surveillance state. Everyone is connected through the social media called “Flock” owned by none other than “Babble Inc”. Babble has offered a Omniview free of charge for all those who opt into the WiFi for life program. And those who opt in get inducted into the book of life, free of charge! The Omniview maintains continuous connectivity of your daily steams to Gaze, this worlds version of YouTube.

You play as a necromancer who freelanced for Grim agency, who is ran by none other than the grim reaper. The grim reaper is out of a job because no one is dying and no one has died for a very long time.

A world where life has no value , and death does not exist. The only thing that matters is money.

I have a game Idea, mechanics, characters, stories , setting, tone, script, VA's lining up out the door. What I don't have is a physical game. I have a Studio working on music, I have a main menu song, and if my animator gets RApido RApido I'll have a 'teaser'.

I am looking to find someone to work as either a collaborative effort, or at least, someone to help develop it.

It is going to be a tactical RPG with Analog horror elements in it.

My goal is to release a physical Demo in December.

The truth is I need help, I have programmed in many programming languages before, but I'm not a game developer.

I would love to connect with people to help drive my vision forward, get the demo out, and proceed to make a full game.

It will be fun, it will be wild, and i have been praised by both professional VA's, and artists for my premise.

Last bit i will give: Is a short synapsis of the game.

setting is Techno Feudalist Society with a mass Surveillance State involved. Everyone is connected through the social media named "Flock" which is owned by "Babble Inc", who has been gracious enough to provide everyone with a Omniview that keeps them connected to the world wide web for free! It also lets them stream their real life goings on on their version of Youtube Gaze. Everyone's information is stored in the database called the book of life.

I have the general Direction I want to go, however, I'm looking for Creative hooks as far as it goes with Key Plot companies/Technology etc.

The setting is Techno Feudalism, and as such Knighthoods are replaced by corporations.

I have the big bad sorted out, I have the 'plot' ending sort of figured out. But Nothing is named.

Where do you guys go for your inspiration? What do you guys do to come up with uniquely named things?

I'm looking for slightly humorous/tongue in cheek names for common technological things, like social media, Corporation, smart phone, Body Camera, Smart Glasses. I don't need necessarily told where to Find these things or even how to come up with their names, but: When do you start putting these sort of details into your recipe and where does your inspiration come from?
