Ovarian Cysts?

Hi all. I’m kinda ignorant on this subject so forgive me.
I’d love for anyone with experience or knowledge to share their experience and let me know if it sounds similar to mine.

I(22F) will admit right off the bat, I am a little health anxious so I tend to often assume the worst when it comes to my health. And yes I know I won’t take medical advice from Reddit, I plan to go to the doctor at some point.

Anyways. I have some history of ovarian cysts in my family. Recently I’ve been occasionally having some of the worst pain I’ve almost ever experienced.

I’m not great at describing but it’s definitely cramp like, but it’s sharper than I’ve ever felt, very very low on my torso so basically my ovaries I suppose lol.

I’m in my luteal phase right now and typically don’t start cramping til very close to my period. But this is beyond cramping. It’s kinda intermittent, or it will be excruciating for a few seconds/minutes, the just be mild.

I of course googled other symptoms I have a few of them but I can possibly blame them on my job cause I’m a flight attendant, so things like bloating or inconsistent urinary or bowel changes aren’t that surprising.

Also part of me has been paranoid abt ectopic pregnancy cause it’s my biggest fear n I’m not of birth control but that may not be here nor there idk.
N now I’m scared of that.

So anyways,
TLDR: anyone who’s experienced ovarian cysts, what were symptoms you experienced?

Rejection after rejection

Yallllll
Some of you may have seen the many posts I’ve put on here before.

But I (22F) have been on the job hunt for MONTHS. I’m a flight attendant and I’m so fed up with the lifestyle.

I started my hunt by applying to healthcare jobs I was qualified for.

Rejection after rejection I felt defeated and lowered my standards
and applied to some very entry level jobs.
Rejected.

I finally put some pride aside and chose to apply to jobs at some grocery stores and things I kinda did as a teen. I even got an interview at Whole Foods I felt went very well.
N today I received a rejection email once again.

I have an interview soon at a hospital I used to work at in a different city for the same position I had before, but I even feel
hopeless about that….

I feel like I’m at my wits end. I know I’m not the only one struggling in this job market but I’ve just had enough of the rejections. I have a lot to offer these companies.

Idk what I’m seeking but if there’s somehow an option I haven’t exhausted I’m open to ideas…

VIBRANTS part 2

I made another post asking y’all’s advice basically how to get a lighter blue or purple in my hair, yall were very helpful!
I’ve now accepted I’m fine with a bit of a deeper(idk) vibrant rather than pastels.
SO… the last pic of my hair I uploaded wasn’t in the best lighting.

So here’s some from a few days ago after a highlight at the salon. What you might not see is my roots/the more under layer of my hair there’s still some funkiness of diff colors (brown reddish pinky?) from hair dye I used over a year ago, & some pinky hues obviously 🙃
So anyways, what would yall do in my situation? Just be patient and keep trying to get my hair lighter then dye it? Or try something on it with where my hairs at now?
Thanks yall!!

Baylor Scott

Anyone work at BSWH?
I worked at Baylor when I lived in Fort Worth. I was a patient care tech. Full time, so 3 12 hr shifts a week.
I’m gonna interview for the same job with them soon but I would be PRN.
Basically I’m wanting on some insight on what this schedule looks like? Do you pick your shifts? How far in advance do you know your schedule? Or are you mainly at the disposal of where they need you whenever they want?

I’ll be working another part time job so about 20-30 hrs a week. So I’m worried that if I get it I might have a hard time with conflicting schedule.

VIBRANTS where to start?

Hi!!
New to this group btw
I am leaving a strict job and am soo excited to start coloring my hair again. My hairdresser said she wouldn’t recommend pink because it’s so hard to get out and I already have some pink hues in my hair from red hair dye a long time ago.
Anyways!!
I really want some advice on what to do first, I might never end up doing pink but we’ll see.
I’m gonna upload all the colors I want to have at one point or another. Then a pic of my hair currently. Ideally I’d like to use GDY dye.
Thanks!!<3

Passion for nursing

I just wanted to ask everyone their purpose for wanting to be a nurse.
I feel like it’s always the standard “I wanna help people” or people have experience being in a hospital and having a great nurses.

This is all awesome, but I’m wondering if anyone shares my reasoning.
Overall it’s the job security!!

I have experience with patient care, I’m good at it, but that’s not why I’m pursuing it.

Would love to hear yalls thoughts!

Allergic reaction?

I’m having this weird reaction around my eye, it’s kinda itching/a tiny bit of burning.
I’m visiting my parents n usually their dogs kinda flare up some sneezing or my eyes itch so I assumed my eyes were itchy cause of that but then I went to wash my hands so I would stop rubbing my eye.
Then I saw this in the mirror, looks like it’s not getting worse or better right now but idk what it could be. Just this little swollen oval under my eye, and my eyelids swelled up.
I haven’t had any new foods or medication, I don’t have any real known allergies.
Any ideas??

Boredom is killing me

I know this isn’t an original experience at all but maybe someone can make me feel a little less crazy 🙃 for context if it matters, I’m medicated on a mood stabilizer and adderal.

I (22F) basically live like I’m unemployed rn.
I’m a flight attendant, I’m trying very hard to leave my job, so I work the minimum hours my company requires and am off the rest of the month. I apply for jobs every single day, but that’s besides the point.
I prefer being off of course cause I hate my job, but the boredom and lack of activity is of course driving me, & my ADHD crazy.

My bf that I live with, works 24 hour shifts so every few days I’m just alone with nothing really to do aside from the occasional appointments or maybe an interview here and there.

Otherwise i do NOTHING but switch social media app to social media app, at such a ridiculous pace, get bored of one app, go to the next, go back to the other, rinse repeat.

I’ve been in a little depression off and on for a while so I have no hobbies that really interest me as far as being unplugged. I used to read but I don’t have the patience for that rn. I run pretty often but that only fills an hour of my day.

On days like this where I don’t do anything, when night rolls around, I stay up late, maybe play video games, then my mood take a big shift and I just get rlly emotional, anxious, and start crying n all the dramatics, crying to my mom on the phone about how I’m tired of feeling this way, bla bla bla. Then the next day I’m kinda ok.

Basically idk wtf to do.
Any similar experiences and suggestions to cope or little things I can do to make me not feel like I’m wasting my life away?

Acension dispatcher

Anyone have experience as a “Emergency Dispatch Operator Role” with Acension, specifically at Good Solutions Center?
Or anyone with dispatch experience.
Despite “emergency” being in the title, it’s not a 911 dispatcher role.
The job description basically says you answer patient questions, track inquiries, and “other clerical duties”.

I have an interview tomorrow, I’m looking for insight on interview questions.

Or if you have experience with this job or similar, what are your thoughts?

Jobs that allow colorful hair?

Hi all. I(22F) know the job markets shit rn, especially without a degree, so beggars can’t really be choosers.
But I’m trying job hunt and leave my flight attending job, n I’ve been so restricted at this job as far as showing my tattoos, piercings, n not being able to have fun hair coloring I’d like to have.

Anyone have any ideas? I’ve applied to so many jobs, I have an interview for a medial front office position, I don’t have much hope I’ll be allowed to have colored hair but even tattoos and piercings would be a plus.
Eventually I’d like to go back to school, probably for nursing, but right now I’d just like a more stable consistent job, preferably 9-5 mon-Fri but I’ll take what I can get.
Thanks in advance!

Class action check in mail

I got a check in the mail for about $35, it says Settlement Distributions. Has a real banks name at the top of the check.
Says the lawsuit name (“Doe v Joyous PBS”)

(Basically a ketamine depression treatment company named Joyous. I actually did give my name & possibly my insurance about 2 years ago. Lawsuit says they sold people’s information to third parties like Meta & Google)

The thing is, I googled and the lawsuit isn’t active n my moms scaring me saying “hopefully they don’t get ahold of your information or something” lol

I called the number on the check and it’s just an automated robot voice talking about the lawsuit.

Anyways, this is silly cause it’s just $35, but am I at any risk of being scammed if I cash this check?

Beginner streamer help plz

I (22F) have a job where I have quite a few days off at a time, I’m obsessed w watching vanilla mace and some friends I know stream, gameplay & showing their face. I thought it’d be fun and I need to get more use out of my switch.

Anyways, I don’t have a PC, I have a 2022 MacBook, a switch, tv, and my iPhone, no fancy camera. (Also I can use my bfs gaming headset I think) Is it possible to make it work?

& it looks like I might just need to download OBS, run to Walmart for a capture card, maybe an adapter or something since my Mac doesn’t have USB, & to 5 below for a cheap little ring light. I’m not really in the market to invest a bunch into this as a hobby for myself, n I’m not necessarily looking to do this all the time, just for fun n if it gains views that’d be coollll.

Anyways; is there anything else I should get, again low budget only absolutely necessary things to stream my gameplay from my tv/switch, and also show my face?
Plz be kind obv im new to this lol

Hey all, I’ll try n be brief

I(22F) am a flight attendant and I’m looking to quit asap for personal reasons.

I dont have a degree or really any certs, I plan to go to nursing school next year full time, but right now I need to grind and save money.

I’ve never had a 9-5, Monday-Friday. Always unique schedule jobs.
In my search I started with serving, hospital tech roles, golf bev cart girl, etc.

I’m realizing I really just wanna get a structured 9-5 rn for some stability & consistency for once.

Ive looked into receptionist jobs, admin assistants n stuff.
Im not interested in sales AT ALL, nor a call center.

I wanna work in person at a computer or something, not remote.

I’m in south austin, ideally I’d like to go no lower than $20/hr (maybe I’m asking for a lot but I’m already taking a hourly pay cut quitting my current job)

So ANYWAYS, any suggestions? Once again, no degree, so ideally entry level, ideally office/computer work, but obviously beggars can’t be choosers.

Chat keeps suggesting tech startups but obviously those aren’t typically entry level as far as not having a degree goes.

Sighhhh, gonna make this as short as possible.

I 22F have had 2 PCT roles in my life, one on a med surg unit, another on a CVICU.

I’m a flight attendant, living in the Austin TX area, been trying to apply for PRN & part time PCT roles to dip my toe back in since I plan to start a nursing program next year.

I have probably applied to 15 jobs or so total at hospitals all over Austin, I’ve been rejected/not chosen by every single one.

I even got desperate enough to start applying to night shifts, but still no luck.

I feel defeated, Im only keeping my flight attendant job for the benefits right now, Im so burnt out from flying and am so ready to get back in the hospital.

ANYWAYS, what am I doing wrong? My resume includes my experience, as well as the program I plan to start in 2027.

(The first 5-8 jobs I applied to my resume didn’t mention my plans for schooling.)

I added it because i thought they’d appreciate the plan because one of the hospitals is HCA & partners with the school😵‍💫

Anyways, should I just give up? Change my resume entirely? Lol let me know yall

Here’s screenshots of resumes I’ve used
