I’ve just finished the game… 🥹

I cant resist to write this after finished. It has become my favourite game of all times literally. I dont know how can I thank developers and the company in general. The philosophy, the environment, voice actors, music, Lore, gameplay… Are absolutely PERFECT.

It easy to identify when companies really care about make a game that its imposible to forget. I wont buy a game after a Looong time because of this game. Its a pitty it ended

If any developer are seeing this, GOOD JOB, you created a game that wont be forgotten, at least until I live.

The best Dark Souls

After playing dark Souls 2 i went directly to Elden Ring after quit DS3 because Of a bug NPC mision. After defeated ER I tried Dark Souls 3 for the first time.

The first soul I went to Ng+3. I loved the bosses, fights, the Maps and their cinnection, the perfect bonfire locations and the number of builds you can have Without feeling clumsy and old.

I started with a Bleed build which was so fun, in my ng+ i went through a quality build and in my ng++ i tried strength/faith build and was honestly so fun. Is the only dark Souls I wanted to have all sourceries, miracles, rings and Weapons in order to create as many builds as possible.

The community is also very helpful and Kind

DS3>ER (talking about gameplay)

What is your best/favourite build?

Im interested to know what is your favourite build. Im using tiel at the moment with Hammer and Chisel because is the most similar to dex and I can Spam attacks due to the stamina. However I feel that hammer and chisel is so agresive and Exposes you easily so Im trying hammel and Chisel with Eredrim. What do you prefer?

Probably one of the best DS builds?

Build super fun to use, pretty and on top of that effective and very fast. You can also get everything in early game. The Uchigatana is not even fully improved, it is at +5.

How do you create builds?

I’m curious what you do to create builds in the dark souls. Are you looking for info? Do you do it on your own?

My honest review of DS2 as a newcomer playing the marathon from DeS to Elden Ring

I know nobody asked XD, but I'm currently playing through all the Souls games for the first time, starting from the very first one (Demon's Souls) all the way to FromSoftware's latest titles. I wanted to share my thoughts here in case it helps another new player who is about to start this game.

I just finished the game, and honestly, I liked it. I didn’t find it that difficult overall. The hardest boss for me was the Smelter Demon, which took me 13 attempts. However, the game gives you all the necessary resources to beat any boss, even if your stats or armor aren't the best. I managed to beat almost every other boss on my first or second try. Using a shield makes this game so much easier. The lore and story also completely hooked me.

I did notice that the game is extremely punishing if you whiff a hit, and the parry is horrible. I also really disliked the Estus mechanic you have to be incredibly calculated just to heal, and sometimes it doesn't even work because the animation takes way too long. On top of that, there were way TOO MANY bosses, and the game was honestly starting to feel a bit tedious towards the end.

Also, I don't get the complaints about the runbacks to the bosses. They really aren't that bad. The bonfires feel pretty generous and usually place you right next to the fog gate (though maybe I'm just used to the brutal runbacks in Demon's Souls).

Moving on to DS3 in a few days!

Questions about the Age of Dark, Hollowing, and Manus's Abyss (DS 1)

Hi everyone, I have a few questions regarding the lore surrounding the Age of Fire and the Age of Dark, and I’d love to know the community's thoughts:

1. Is the Age of Dark truly the "good" ending for humanity?
As I understand it, Gwyn used humans through the Undead Curse to sacrifice their Humanity and keep the First Flame burning. The consequence of this is that humans eventually lose their Humanity and go Hollow. On the other hand, if the flame fades, the Age of Dark begins which is supposed to be the natural era for humans, meaning they wouldn't be Hollow or suppressed by the Lords. Does this imply that the Age of Dark is fundamentally the best option for mankind?

2. Was Manus trying to bring the Age of Dark, and why is he considered evil?
Manus is presented as a villain, the Father of the Abyss. Even if his actions could technically lead to the expiration of the Fire and the start of the Age of Dark, are his methods and consequences simply too radical? Based on what I've gathered, the Abyss seems to be a corrupted, wild, and violent version of the Dark rather than a peaceful transition. Is Manus viewed as evil because the Abyss deforms humanity instead of liberating it?
I would appreciate your insights on this! Thanks!

After the series, it’s time to read 📘

I know it’s usually the other way around. But I got so hooked on the series (it’s easily the best series I’ve ever seen in my life) that I decided to buy the book

Is there any book that explains the Lore of the dark souls?

They are games that I have not only for their gameplay but for their Lore. I love them. I would like to know if there are physical books that explain these stories, I would like to collect them too.

  • FHW (Hardware)

Año 3: La Rama de Datos y Web

  • GBD (Bases de Datos Básicas)
  • ASGBD (Administración de Bases de Datos)
  • LM (Lenguajes de Marcas)

Año 4: Seguridad, Aplicaciones y Empresa

  • IAW (Aplicaciones Web)
  • SAD (Ciberseguridad y Alta Disponibilidad)
  • EIE (Emprendimiento)
  • HLC (Horas de Libre Configuración)

Año 5: El Cierre

  • FCT (Prácticas)
  • PASIR (Proyecto Final)

Como os parece? Cambiaríais algo o lo dejaríais estar teniendo en cuenta mi circustancia. Gracias!

First time playing a metoridvania. I would also be interested to know how was your first experience with the genre

I have decided to dare with this genre. Maturing a little with age (18 years old) jaja and about to enter the university I'm tired of playing games that take you by the hand like a child and treat you as if you were an idiot. I've played a Souls and I like the idea of having to decipher the Lore by yourself, it's like a pretty interesting deductive exercise, it also gives a different and good gratification. Any advice for a beginner? I've tried with Blasphemous 1. Is it normal to take 4 hours and not know what I'm doing? It's more frustrating even knowing that I'm Spanish and from Andalusia, where the game is inspired🤣
