Are there better brands of fertilizer than the than the ones I see at the big box stores. What are their names and where are they sold at.

I can eat cucumbers plain, and this time of year everyone has loads of them. I never really hear people talk about them, I never notice them in restaurants. So how does everyone eat cucumbers.

S.E.Mi. My soil test says I need potassium like a 0-0-60. I found a liquid 0-0-25 but it says it’s just a foliar spray. Hi-Yield
Sells a 0-0-60 but I find there’s is a large granular type. I was expecting something similar to a fertilizer. I need 1.5 lbs per thousand sq.ft. The Hi-Yield brand is for gardens. It says 4lbs will cover 800 sq.ft.Does anyone know of a potassium supplement for lawns. I hadn’t been able to find any.

I’ve noticed some say latex others say no latex. I’ve noticed quite a price difference, are there some that are better ?

I have shares of a stock that I’ve been holding for 20 years. I know I pay taxes on dividends. I’m considering selling some shares .Where can I learn how the IRS is going to calculate the cost basis for that stock. I went to the IRS website and didn’t find the answer there.

I salt my steak and put it in the fridge on a grate for 12 hours. After I take it out of the fridge do I remove all the salt on the steak, or do I cook it with the salt on the steak, this is my first time trying this.

So I make spaghetti sauce once in a while. But I’ve never used tomato paste in my sauce, what does tomato paste supposed to do. Is it supposed to thicken the sauce, or add flavor to the sauce ?

When I look to purchase salsa, I notice some are mild , some are chunky, which I understand. Then I notice that some are listed as restaurant style. What does that pertain to. I see a mild,chunky,salsa. And a mild,chunky,restaurant style of the same brand, so what is different about restaurant style ?
