Anyone turn one of these into a steam machine?

I already have a minisforum PC, specifically the hx80g, and it more than fulfills the minimal gaming I currently do on PC. But I am thinking of the future and with consoles seemingly pushing towards digital only unless they reverse the decision I will be going PC. I still want a console like experience but the price/performance comparison of the steam machine is lacking horribly.

Has anyone turned one of these PC's into a steam machine with steam OS?

If you have

Was the setup terribly difficult?

How has your experience with it been since you did so?

*spoiler* how far from the end am I?

>!I just helped mao and recharged the moonmirror, I still have a TON of stuff not unlocked but the main quest is now directing me towards fighting kaifried. Without spoiling anything if I go fight him will I have beaten the game? I still have areas of the map left to explore in the different ages, dungeons I can't seem to get to or beat, I want to do everything before I finish the game if possible.!<

[Tomt] anime about a blonde chosen One who's body is taken over by someone from another world.

That's all I can really remember, my friend showed it to me. I know it had to have come out in the last like 5 years at most. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated

Spirit tracks and phantom hourglass on the v?

I'm wondering if anyone has successfully run either of these games on the rg40xxv, I've been wanting to play them for a long time and while I'm sure it can run them the reliance on the touch pad has me curious

What are the best fan games to play on a handheld emulator?

Some rom hacks require the base game to play, and some are their own roms/files. I'm looking for recommendations of original fan made games that I can simply import to my handheld emulator and play.

The console is the RG 40XX V so it can really only handle up to ps1 with full confidence.

The series that interest me the most are pokemon, Zelda, and the Mario and Luigi RPG series, but I'm willing to give anything a look.

Thank you in advance for your recommendations!

Is it possible to have the flip 2 default to rocknix?

I know it's an android device but I already have an android device and it's so fiddly I just want the simplicity of Linux but the devices built for it are way less powerful.

Which device should I get?

So I'm looking to pick up an anbernic device but I am trying to keep 3 things in mind

  1. Portability, I want something that I can stick my pocket and carry around without issue

  2. Linux, I want it to be a Linux-based system, I know that Android is more powerful, I already have an Android device but that's also not carryable and it takes a lot more fiddling even after setup is finished. With Linux systems it seems that once setup is finished you are just good to go you don't need to mess around with anything anymore

  3. Systems, I want to be able to play everything from the PS1 down, and I mean the entire ps1 library. Ideally I would also be able to run the N64 library as well, but then you start limiting a lot because most systems that are more portable do not have joysticks and it's harder to run.

I've currently been considering the 34xxsp, honestly if it wasn't for the fact that it's Android I would probably pick up the rotate and just be done with it, I love the form factor

But if anybody has any recommendations that I am unaware of or any advice in general that I would need to know it would all be greatly appreciated

I just watched the reze movie, and since they seem to be doing a single arc per season going forward, maybe 2, it's going to be another 5 years at least until the anime is finished. Normally I wouldn't care and I would just wait for the release but with the division that the ending seems to create I'm wondering if I should just read the Manga and skip the rest of the anime.
