Anyone else who lives near the fairgrounds dealing with internet going out?

Live across the road and my internet's been out for an hour now. My girlfriend works from home so this has been frustrating to say the least. I'm mostly just trying to see if this is because of congestion from the fair, because T-Mobile customer service has been zero help.

The "I'm Retarded?" meme comes from an episode of Quantum Leap

For context, Quantum Leap is a time travel show where Scott Bakula's character wakes up inhabiting a different person's body in a different time period each episode.

While we're arguing about Daylight Savings, our senator is trying to take away birthright citizenship. Unreal that our state and country have gotten to this point. I fucking hate this place.

I answered no for his survey, even though I doubt it actually means anything.

Is the Max 9 actually this bad or was this one poorly maintained?

I rented a Max 9 to try out at the range yesterday and it was probably the most unreliable shooting experience I've ever had shooting a pistol. Aside from it feeling terrible to shoot, the slide would stick and I couldn't rack the slide to chamber a round, so I would have to use the slide release to send it home.

It would also lock back prematurely for seemingly no reason with rounds still it the chamber. I shoot with my thumbs out and nowhere near the slide release, so I pretty quickly verified that the issue wasn't my grip. I was not able to go through a single mag without getting at least 2 premature lockbacks with rounds still in the mag. No way I'd ever trust my life to that.

However, the one caveat to this is that I was inspecting the gun and it looked pretty dirty, like the range staff hadn't cleaned this one in a while. Has anyone else had these similar issues with the Max 9? Because honestly at this point I'm not sure if it's a dogshit gun or if my local range just doesn't clean their rentals

Found this 4 port charger on clearance at my local Lowes

Excuse the messy work van. Never seen this before but seemed like a good deal with how many batteries I've accumulated.

F108WH: One of Casio's less exciting designs, but one of the best for the money.

Bought this thing for $15 a few years ago when I wanted something bigger than my F-91W. It's been an absolute work horse for me. I've swam and showered with it, dropped it, hit it, and it still runs great. Probably my most accurate Casio as well, usually loses about 10-15 seconds at the most over a month or two. No cool design or interesting colors or anything like that, but the thing just works.

I've thought about getting a G-Shock many times, but honestly, every time I consider it, I try to think of what this doesn't do that I need it to do, and I come up short. Maybe I'll still get one for the look or extra accuracy, not sure yet.

Would this be interchangable with my Type 54 pistol?

Found out that Norinco made a Tokarev-style 213 pistol in 9mm and barrels can be found online. If I can, I'd like to swap my 7.62x25 barrel so I can shoot it more since Tokarev ammo is becoming more scarce.

What optics are you guys putting on your Mete SF/SFT?

Picked one up last month and I love it, I think it'd be a perfect host for my first pistol optic.

I'm looking for something budget, $200 or under is preferable but that can be flexible. Would not be for carry, this is purely for the range, maybe competition somewhere down the line if I'm ever able to shoot worth a shit. I've heard there are adapter plates available for other footprints but I'd like to stick to RMSc for the lowest and easiest mounting.

Any recommendations are appreciated!

Is this worth considering for an upgrade from my current base?

Would be coming from a TS-PC, thinking of getting this and selling the pedals since I have the T-LCM set already. I'm aware there are better value options for DD, but I already have 3 Thrustmaster wheels and am pretty deep in the ecosystem. Would this be worth the money to upgrade from my current setup?

The upcoming Coca-Cola 600 will be the first NASCAR Cup Series race without a Busch or Earnhardt racing in almost 47 years, since the Southern 500 in 1979.

RIP KFB. Loved to hate him but it's undeniable that he was a legend.

PSA: If you're bringing a child to the 500 or practice, make sure they have hearing protection.

Saw way too many kids, toddlers and even babies at qualifying today with zero hearing protection. As someone who goes to bed every night with ringing ears, protecting hearing from a young age is super important, it doesn't come back.

I have an opportunity to get one of these Talo M1 stocks for ~$125 and I'm seriously considering it. I think M1 Carbines are super cool, and I don't want to soend a grand on one so the way I see it, this could be a nice way to get my fix.

Anyone have this version of the stock as opposed to the EABCO version? How do you like it? How does it feel/hold up?
