Visibly Old but Still Attractive
This isn't referring to characters who are stated to be elderly but still look no older than 30, but rather old characters who actually look their age and are still beautiful in their elderly state.
Ana (Overwatch)
Eda Clawthorne (The Owl House)
Kya (Avatar Legends)
(Loved Designs) The Characters of Avatar: The Rebirth Era (art by u/tired_kiddo)
Sources: Noa Beifong, Yuki and Siku, Suzuka, Hyun
I really love the way Kiddo managed to combine design elements of the Avatar series (symbols, colors, accessories, etc.) with modern fashion for a series that takes place roughly 70 years after the Korra era; taking inspiration from Part 1 of Naruto really helped, these designs have some awesome personality.
My favorite is definitely Noa Beifong. While her outfit is simple but fun, her signet ring, tassel earrings, and jade bangle do a nice job of showing her wealthy family status, and I love the idea of the next Avatar being a Beifong (plus the idea of her, Yuki, and Siku being an inseparable trio of friends).
These characters feel like they have so much potential.
Why Was Korra VS Storm Chosen for DEATH BATTLE?
Thumbnails by GreekDBW: Korra VS Rey, Korra VS Delsin, Korra VS Storm
Would you say Korra VS Storm was a waste for both combatants?
What If Cowboy Bebop Had Aliens?
While it's not essential, it would've been cool to have at least one episode where the Bebop crew encountered some kind of alien life form.
Sidenote: I love the idea of the crew meeting Rocky from PHM
What If Avatar Had Dual-Benders?
Okay, I doubt we'll see this sort of thing in canon, but how do you feel about the concept?
Imagine if couples and breeding between different types of benders became so common that there could be extremely rare cases where the offspring could bend two different elements?
Only the Avatar can master all four elements, but there are a few who can master more than one.
If You Don't Believe RWBY Will Improve, Have You Given Up on It?
What If Ryuko Ages Slower as a Hybrid?
(Here's a sad headcanon)
Iori: "So, after running some tests, it seems that the Life Fibers in your body are affecting your aging process."
Ryuko: "What are you talking about?"
Iori: "For the first seventeen years of your life, your human cells aged normally, and you grew up like a regular girl. But since your Life Fibers give you a healing factor, it seems they’re starting to have a deeper effect. Your human cells are still aging, but now your Life Fibers are repairing them — meaning you’re still growing, just much slower than you originally did."
Ryuko: "So, what does that mean?"
Iori: "I’m very sorry to tell you this… but it means you could live for over a century and still look and feel no older than thirty. Everyone you know and love will grow old before you even start going gray."
What Kind of Profession/Job Would Fit Ryuko?
I think she could be a Scientist of some kind, as a way of learning more about herself and getting closer to her dad.
What Are Your OC's Alternate Skins?
If your OCs were in a RWBY fighting game, what would you choose for their alternative outfits and colors?
Personally, Team BLUD would have their Beacon outfits and Vacuo outfits, as well as each other's color palettes.
They're Not Comparable Just Because They Lost Limbs
So, from what I gathered here, the issue with Ruby cutting off Tyrian's stinger in Volume 4 isn't just that she cut it off, but that she didn't reflect on that action despite her sister having also lost a limb.
Even though Ruby cut off Tyrian's stinger because he's a crazy man who openly admitted to working with her enemies and poisoned her uncle while trying to kidnap her, while Yang lost her arm trying to protect her friend?
What sense does that make?!
What Was Your First Reaction to This Scene?
Don't take this the wrong way; I'm just curious about how you reacted to Ragyo and Nui brainwashing Ryuko...with a mental threesome.
I already knew about the scenes with Ragyo and Satsuki, but when I saw this one, I was like "What is happening?" and "What the actual fuck did I just watch?"
What's with the Ryuko x Deku hate? (Art by @Jojo_Banzai)
Okay, I'm not saying I'm a massive fan or hater of the ship, but whenever I see posts of fanart or mentions of Aduubo's 'Hero La Kill' story on this sub, the replies are quite negative.
You don't have to like a ship if you don't want to, but my question is what exactly is the issue with shipping Ryuko with Izuku?
What Are Your Head-Canons About Rumi's Father? (Art by Maysrinn)
This Comparison Makes No Sense.
Seriously, what does Ruby cutting off Tyrian's stinger have to do with Yang losing her arm and how was Ruby in the wrong for doing that?
Sometimes That's What This Sub Feels Like to Me
(I know they're connected, but I'm sure you get the idea.)
Thoughts?
Does Fullmetal Alchemist Have a Black and White Narrative or a Grey Narrative?
"Do you see this tragic and horrible civil war? Well, it was actually caused by an evil Homunculus trying to gain God-like power."
It's like finding out WW2 was caused by a Witch looking for the Fountain of Youth.
(All three versions of the story can be discussed)
- Shantae (WayForward)
- Rias Gremory (High School DxD)
- Lucy Heartfilia (Fairy Tail)
(Admittedly, I got the idea for this post from the top reply of this one)
What I'm asking is, do you genuinely consider how CRWBY can address their mistakes in future volumes, or have you dismissed the possibility entirely or something in between?
(I don't know if I'm ready for these replies)
