i might sound dumb but in all honesty i thought a uti was just something that affected when you peed by hurting/ stinging, but oh i was so wrong im in bed with a fever chronic pain in almost my whole body because it reached my kidneys, im just glad i didnt ignore it and went to the er last night, they prescribed cefpodoxime tablets, 2x a day for 14 days, can anyone give me any review of that antibiotic? i took my first one today and the bad part is that it takes a little while to actually relieve the pain which is killing me i genuinely can barely walk, i put down my vape and everything i just want this gone this pain is unbearable (btw yes ik theres ppl that go thru worse) but still ugh this is so hard, also does that antibiotic have noticeable side effects?

so recently i made a post asking if i was overreacting about a relationship that i ended, almost all the comments were saying i seem like i have bpd tendencies, im not yet going based off those comments tho because i do know i have a lot of the symptoms that bpd gives, but i never wanted to ask about it bc i dont wanna self diagnose, i want to get diagnosed but ive seen other people with bpd say that it’s very hard to get diagnosed and that professionals don’t take bpd serious, i have been to a psychiatrist already but that lady literally was a joke, all she asked was if i had depression and anxiety and immediately gave me anti depressants with no information whatsoever so i really felt like dismissed and that i would never rlly find help, what should i do? should i talk about this to a therapist or something? i genuinely just want to know what’s wrong with me and get the help i need but it’s hard when it seems like professionals just don’t care and just give u a bottle of pills and send u on ur way.
