Hi guys! I was wondering if anyone could give me an insight into french hl? what are the exams like? is it literary analysis, or just using french or what? i'm on a grade 9 in gcse and just want to get a lay of the land for ib!!

am i the only one who when i first saw this subreddit thought that coincidentally everyone who took the IB was male and 26 years old (M26)?! i know what it means now but i still find myself reading it like that first before translating it 🤦‍♀️😂

do you think the original designers of the standard covers of books get a little kick out of it when FL use a design very similar to theirs and then do something else on the inside of the dust jacket ? (e.g. Katabasis). because i feel like if that was me it would be a big tick box like "yayyy fairyloot approve my design!" 😂
