which is more lucrative, radiography or physiotherapy?

Hello, I'm in yr 12 currently debating between the two because my heart goes to physiotherapy, but I'm in a very financially difficult situation where I feel like I have to make some compromises for financial stability. I heard that the pay in physio is awful compared to workload and the salary ceiling is very hard to break through unless you open your own business, which I dont see myself doing. I have heard that radiographers, especially on-call earn more, but I'd like to know to what extent because if there's really no difference then I'd just be better off doing physio. Thanks in advance. edit: forgot to add, I also need to consider how expensive it is to study both of them. From what I heard being a radiography student is crazy expensive.

Question regarding "respond to a situation" answer format

Hi, I've watched a few videos on the 'respond to a situation' part of the exam, and I've been getting mixed advice on how to respond to it. Some videos are saying I should act as if I'm actually in the scenario, like saying "Excuse me, can I ___" while others are saying I should respond as if it's a hypothetical scenario, like "I would respond by saying ___". While I assume you can do either, I want to know you guys' opinions on which would be more efficient and effective in the exam. Thank you.

impact statement evidence if I live overseas?

Hi, i'm an australian citizen student that will be completing yr 12 overseas (in a non-english speaking country) this year. I've been meaning to apply for seas under the categories [living with a disability or medical conditon] and [difficult family and life circumstances], but I was wondering how I would go about getting evidence from my school counsellor and doctor. Is applying for seas overseas even possible? Would the diagnosis have to be in English? and (Assuming the statement of support has to be in English) neither of them know english, so am I technically allowed to write it for them, have them confirm and write their info/signature?

Experiences with reverse nordic curls?

17F osteoarthritis in knees and have received prp injections 3x in one knee, one hyaluronic acid shot in the other around 3 months ago. None seem to have helped much at all. Been looking to incorporate reverse nordic curls into my strength training routine, but I've heard people have had vastly different experiences with them. People recommend to get comfortable with the seiza pose first, but does that pose not exacerbate knee pain? I tried it banded on two separate occasions, but i barely felt anything in my quads so I'm probably getting the form wrong. Want to keep trying but I also dont want to take my chances and possibly make my knees worse. Also please leave any good exercises that have helped.

sun allergy after moving OUT of Australia????

hi, I moved out of Australia in 2021 and have been living in South Korea for the past 5 years. Around two years into living here, I started developing a sun allergy and now get itchy bumps all over my skin in moderately high to high uv lvl weather. What could the logic be of developing sun sensitivity after moving to an area with MUCH less sun???? I'm moving back to Australia next year and I'm very worried because I've ironically also had an allergy to most sunscreens since birth (not sure of the exact chemical). Will my allergy disappear after moving back??? Or am I just destined to burn to death

school/work balance for bachelor of physiotherapy (honours)

Hi all, I'm wondering how those of you who are in the physiotherapy course and are working are balancing school and work. Is working possible during clinical placement in the 3rd and 4th year? How manageable is it in year 1 and 2? Thanks.

piercing bump after downsizing conch

Hi all, I downsized my conch about a month ago and all was good until I woke up today with a piercing bump. I initially got my conch pierced around 5 months ago and this is surgical steel. Could it be the material? Should I just resume with my normal routine until it naturally goes away?

vent post by a teen with knee OA

Two months ago, I got diagnosed with OA in both knees at 17 after having symptoms for the last ~8 months, and found out patellofemoral dysplasia had a big part in it. Since then, I've had PRP treatment 3 times in 1 knee and a hyaluronic acid injection in another and still my knees ache in every single place every single day, whether im lying down or sitting or standing or walking and I feel the pain as soon as I open my eyes in the morning. Even a change in the weather or a too hot shower worsens the pain significantly. I've been taking meds twice daily and do rehab exercises at home but I feel like nothing helps. Sitting is hell for me but I'm a student in a country with a rigorous education system so I have to sit and study for over 10 hours every day and I feel like it's been affecting my academic life too. It's so mentally draining especially because I used to play volleyball, basketball, run, and go to the gym daily. Sports was one of my few outlets and without that I've been so depressed and at loss of what to do and what I would have to endure when I become older. Two weeks ago, I noticed significant improvement in my knees, and decided to give basketball a go with knee braces. They were fine for a few days, but the morning after day 3 of playing sports my knees hurt in a way they hadn't for months. Since then my knees have gotten significantly worse. My doctor is scarily positive about the whole thing, saying I'd be able to fully go back to sports and even after the PRP treatment wears off after a year, id experience no more pain because I'm young. But I genuinely have no hope of ever returning to having a normal life anymore, I'm so drained. I feel like all I do is just mope and cry all day lol.. even as I'm typing this I'm supposed to be studying for an exam I have tomorrow that's extremely important for uni

why are international exams harder than the US?

I've heard the international versions are harder, and though it does annoy me as a person taking the int. exam I do understand that they adjust the curve and I probably should have nothing to worry about. But like... why.??? Shouldn't it be the other way around? Since the majority of exam takers are in the US, the competition would be higher, and also for a good handful of kids taking the int. exam their first language isnt even english

hi all, I wanted to run expedition 33 on my ipad air but the quality is so bad, the cutscenes and overall gameplay is really laggy. My wifi isnt bad, im on 5ghz, i tried playing directly next to the router with no results. I'm using a vpn because geforcenow doesnt offer services in my country, would that be the problem? Any suggestions would be great, thanks.
