Sorry for the question, but does Immich have duplicate detection?

I was thinking about using one of those photo cleaner apps on the App Store but I'm not sure I entirely trust them, even if they say they do the processing locally.

I heard about Immich, and have a little bit of self-hosting knowledge. I saw that it might have duplication detection, but is it the same as those photo cleaner apps or does it work in a different way than what I'm thinking. Thank you!

Mexico - Watch Qualifying or Day of the Dead parade

This will be my first time to Mexico, and both of these will be new experiences. On the one hand, I already plan to go to FP2 the day before and the actual race on Sunday as well. I had wanted to see Qualifying but unfortunately it's one or the other.

Which one would you guys recommend? Thanks!

Valet service bumped my car, do I report it to insurance?

I left my car with valet service last night, and afterwards they told me the manager had bumped it. They apologized and gave me the managers' number and also wrote down the managers insurance policy.

When we went to inspect it, they showed me where it was bumped and there was hardly a scratch and I couldn't spot any damage at all. I felt bad for the guys too, and they were very apologetic, so I left.

The next morning now I'm unsure what to do. Do I just let it be, or is there anything that I need to do? Thanks!

I plan to go swimming in SD, are there any showers nearby?

Are the public showers outdoors / or are they stalled (have doors for privacy)? I want to be able to take a full shower after and go to a nice dinner. Thanks for the help!

Question on if this was a worthwhile usage of points?

I'm new to this community and points in general, and this might seem like small potatoes to some of the other big spenders on here. But I recently used 21,500 Southwest points to book a flight from ONT -> SLC. The cash price for this flight was around $325. I looked at The Points Guy valuation of Southwest points and it said 1.25c, whereas if I did the math correctly on my redemption, it was about 1.5c.

I just wanted to know if this was a worthwhile usage of my points, or if I should cancel and use cash instead and work to get more points for a "better" flight? Thanks so much!

F1 tickets not showing in account - Mexico GP

I bought the tickets several months ago through the official F1 website, and when I went to go check on my account today it's very barebones and says I don't have any tickets. I even checked through the event organizer page through Ticketmaster and it says I don't have any tickets.

I'd at least like to see which seats / order history but I can't even see that. Perhaps I'm looking in the wrong place, but I'm trying to make sure there's nothing wrong come race day.

EDIT: Nevermind, I was able to follow a different link to see my order history

Anyone know where I can look for this? Thanks for your help!

PC black screens / restarts after finishing playing game

I have a RTX 4080 and this problem only started happening a few months ago. I'm currently playing through Cyberpunk, and after the game is finished, a few seconds will go by and then all of a sudden the computer will black screen and automatically restart. Running the game is fine as far as I can tell.

Steps I have already taken:

  • Used DDU in safe mode and wiped drivers and reinstalled with latest drivers (610.88)
  • Tried to fiddle with the wires and made sure none were loose
  • Used sfc /scannow and made sure nothing else was corrupted.

I have MSI Afterburner installed, and I do have it "undervolted" but I don't think it's being applied anyway as I don't have MSI Afterburner set to launch with Windows, and I didn't want it affecting anything right now. Should I just un-install it for the time being?

Does anyone know of a fix to this hopefully? Thanks for your help!

How to use RTX HDR correctly?

I have HDR enabled through Windows and I was using Auto-HDR (I did use the image calibration tool), and I'm currently playing through Cyberpunk 2077. After doing some research, people are saying that RTX HDR is better, and so now I've turned off Auto-HDR through Windows.

I'm pretty sure that Cyberpunk has built in HDR, so to prevent it from clashing, which options do I need to enable / disable for NVIDIA to automatically detect if a game has HDR and to disable itself from using RTX HDR.

I see these 2 settings here, please let me know which ones need to be enabled / disabled properly. Thank you!

TLDR: Should I have RTX HDR enabled in both "Global Settings" and "Video Settings" to do HDR (automatically as well)? Thanks for your help!

Going to my first GP, which practices are worth going to?

I'll be attending the Mexico GP as my first one, and while it'd be cool to see a practice, I'm not sure I want to watch all 3, and would rather use the limited time I have to go explore the city with my girlfriend.

So if you had to choose which practice to go for, which one should I go to? And then should I just go the next day as well for the Qualifying? Thank you!

How to deal with decision paralysis?

To preface Witcher 3 is one of my favorite games, and I'm finally getting the chance to play Cyberpunk. However I have a bad "habit" of trying to make the "right / good" choice in every game that I play. Even during Baldur's Gate 3, I was accidentally spoiling myself figuring out which dialogue option led to what consequence so that I didn't accidentally hit the wrong one.

One of my biggest fears is losing access to content. I don't have much time to game these days, so I can't necessarily just do another run when I have so many other games to play still, so I like to just do one run and that's my "true run".

So how do you guys deal with it? Thanks everyone!

Right now I'm at the Maelstrom mission, and the Meredith offered me to give me her chip to pay for it. I already knew that something shady was up with that chip, but then I refused it, and she said that was a bad choice to make. I ended up reloading that save, because I feel like I locked myself out on some content.

So how do you guys deal with it? Thanks everyone!

First time playing 3K, should I install any mods?

The only other Total War game I played was Shogun 2 about 14 years ago, and I remember there was a mod that made the endgame a lot more feasible instead of having every faction turn against you at the same time. Without that mod, my enjoyment of the game would not be there.

So is there a similar must have mod for this game, or should I play it vanilla? Thanks!

Do airlines like Southwest give out information to other people/companies regarding ticket #?

I was wondering if a company or a person could call in and give them the ticket #, and Southwest would tell them the details of that ticket regarding passenger name / route? Thanks!

Unique situation, but just wanted to make sure. It's my fault for waiting until the last day, but this was for my fiancee. We tried to have Vanguard withdraw money for her Roth IRA that she just opened on April 14 last month so that it would be counted for 2025 tax year. We thought it would have gone through, she even got the email.

But a few days later no money was taken out of her bank account, and apparently there was some sort of error that Vanguard couldn't take the money out. We contacted customer service, and the first lady told us that if we connected our bank account again, she would be able to retro-actively apply the money to 2025 tax year since it was an error and she saw that we tried to get it there before the deadline.

So we connected our bank account and everything, but the next 2 agents we spoke to on the line said they could not do that. Should we keep trying, or did the first lady not know and just gave us some misinformation. Thanks!
