US states call for big changes to Instagram and Facebook as Meta child privacy trial begins

I don't like Meta for various reasons, but I genuinely hope they end up winning all of this. Those mad people want for like counts, stories and the creation of multiple accounts to be removed... Does anyone realize how much harmful the latter would be? Genuinely, the ability to create multiple accounts represents a huge way of keeping things neat and organized, aside from the fact that it represents a psychological mechanism of introspection and identity exploration and I'm being as serious as I can. Because if Meta loses this, other social platforms could be next too!

And yes, I hope is obvious that this matter is relevant to this subreddit.

Is there any gay/bi guy here who was never and NEVER involved with a girl?

I feel like I'm almost the only one who was never involved with a female, not even romantically, nothing, and it surprises me big time cause there are this gayest guys I know and they at least had a girlfriend... Like at this point I know of more h*terosexual guys who has less luck in this regards than gay guys (I mean statistics doesn't help this case either). Also please attach your age/age range of reference because you can either be 18 or 81 and that could change some things.

Unpopular Opinion: Aiden was a disappointment in the trailer.

As someone who was rooting for him and got excited for his villain phase, him just feeling sorry while disregarding his own struggles that made him be like that is kind of…

Also he feels sorry about Manu, but not Ernesto???? Like Manu did that himself, while Ernesto had NO choice…

Don’t get me wrong, I wouldn’t have minded seeing him become un-villain in the season, but it would’ve been more satisfying if that had more of an exposition (which can happen in the episode, but I heavily doubt). My only hope now is that he’ll return and regress, but what are the odds of even him returning in the first place?????

Is there a subreddit/place where we can actively share (our experiences with) unfairly moderated subreddits?

This can be also considered a rhetoric question embodying a complaint so PLEASE DON'T TAKE THIS DOWN FOR ONCE.

“Benji has to return, ONC wouldn’t give him and us false hope”

For anyone out of the loop, this was after they announced a fifth season with some returnees. Mind you, aside from Natalia, Lynda was the only one who had a line about it, yet did she return…?

I would be okay with Benji returning I guess, I liked him in the last season too, saying this for people that would call me a hater.

Antis, how okay would this be?

For those who can’t access the post, the reel features a human powered AI machine, capable of receiving spoken questions and giving spoken answers, the energy from all of this coming from rotating a handle manually. I’m not sure if it’s real, but let’s just assume that for the sake of the discussion.

On a scale from 1 to 10 how acceptable would using an AI be in that instance?

[SPOILER] ________ finding out was justified and well written.

>!I didn’t see anyone saying this, but despite the elimination being kinda messed up, Fiore finding that Ally has an idol was completely justified and well written on Fiore’s behalf. The seeds were planted since Episode 8 when she had that conversation with Ren when he told her he’s found an idol by hanging in the trees and it was also foreshadowed in the next episodes when she was showcased hanging out in the trees. The episode just went to show up her gameplay evolution.!<

>!Could Ally just not pull up the idol out of nowhere right then? Of course, but that doesn’t have anything to do with Fiore.!<

Serios???

How ethical would it be to consider yourself ethical?

My mind went on autocomplete for the latter part of the question, not gonna lie, but it’s still an interesting one.

Are those huge music producers really doing it all?

Are those huge and ultra popular music producers really doing all the melody making, arrangements, instrument selection, mixing, mastering, etc or do they take more of a creative director role?

Is someone's wealth really theirs if they can't control it all?

Picture Elon Musk. His companies are worth more than a trillion dollars. But does he really decide what color the newest Tesla models should come in? Does it he really decide what fonts should X's User Interface use? But more importantly, **is he able** to decide all of those things? Realistically, most probably the answer is "No.", because then he would lose focus on the more important, high-level stuff and his wealth would shrink drastically.

Having this example given, then what is really wealth if one can't realistically have full control or autonomy over it? Is net worth really a good measure of success? What's the point of owning things if you still are at the sake of those who operate them?

I am aware this might not be the best sub to post this is, but r/AskReddit was to restrictive and r/Entrepreneur required comment karma.

How to obtain a cash cow? [I Will Not Promote]

AKA how to have financial security? I know some would say to get into specific industries, but like how??? How do you get into those industries, especially if they're already dominated by others? And when does the point come where the relatively overwhelming amount of investment to set up the cash cow has to transform into some smaller, more consistent investment to maintain it?

Is there anyone here who has never or extremely barely used Grindr?

If so, please specify your reasons and age cause I refuse to believe that someone who’s awarely gay never touched that app, given enough time.

What’s the most and least AI-phobic social media platform?

No cause genuinely despite Elon putting his techbro-ish influence over Twitter, that platform is still hugely AI-phobic. So, my question is, what platforms contains the most hate towards AI, and what platforms the least?

How is a company scaled using Venture Capital? [I Will Not Promote]

If you reply to this post do it under the assumption that I’m a total noob, and don’t make me regret **not** using AI for my answers. Thank you!

Ok so as far as I can understand a company can either be bootstrapped or self financed or the money can be earned from selling parts of that company to other investors (which is called Venture Capital).

Now, does that money go to the original owner and then that owner has the option to reinvest them and hence the scaling part or am I missing something?
