Odometer questions…
I’m really interested in buying an Element for my kid. I’ve always wanted one myself, and there are quite a few available on marketplace for different prices. Generally, we own cars up until they hit around 140,000 miles. That’s when the cost of fixing issues with the car start to outweigh the cost of new car payments. I’ve heard that elements are very reliable, and most of the ones I see are above 200,000 miles. Any Element I see listed below 140,000 miles is really expensive for a car that’s two decades old.
Am I looking for trouble if I buy an Element with over 200,000 miles on it, or are they good to go?
Edit: to clarify, the overall financial cost on new car payments isn’t necessarily more, but the peace of mind of living without unpredictable maintenance is a part of it.
iPhone speech to text customization
Is there any way to customize Apple‘s speech to text so that it doesn’t place commas in random places and randomly capitalize words? It’s really a nuisance and I have to backtrack to fix all the punctuation mistakes that I didn’t ask for.
Chicago 1893 Colombian Exposition museum?
We’re heading to Chicago this summer, and I’d love to visit a museum with the best information on the history of the Colombian Exposition. What’s the best place to visit according to locals?
I bent down to look at a particularly nice piece of petrified wood, and this was sitting only 6” away. Definitely my biggest point ever!
