What Taylor songs do you listen to when you don’t want your brain to do brain stuff?

Probably not many people can relate, but I like listening to ME when I don’t want my brain to do brain stuff lol. It’s so easy to listen to, and you just vibe to it without thinking too much. I find it relaxing.

What other Taylor songs do you think have the same effect? I’m thinking 22, Anti-Hero...

As Taylor told us not to “eat out of the trash,” what’s your personal approach to it?

“Eating out of the trash” is never gonna last, but easier said than done lol.

How do you personally stop yourself from going back to things you already know aren’t good for you?

I (F24) found out the guy (M25) I had a 3-month connection with is seeing someone else, how do I move on?

Here it goes.

This person... idk how to call it. Not a typical situationship even, but a lot happened between us for about three months. physical, emotional, everything.

Then he went back to his country and we kept in touch. That’s when things somehow opened up even more between us. This happened in January.

Before he left, he told me he would come back one day for his PhD. He did apply and got the offer, but he told me he wasn’t sure about accepting it. I didn’t jump in because it’s his own life decision, so I decided not to reach out anymore because what’s the point if he’s not coming back, even though I really wanted him to.

Fast forward a month later, he texted me and we talked on and off. I was still very open about how I felt, telling him I missed him and wrote him things, but he also kept almost everything between us sexual.

I pushed back because I sensed something was off with him. He became more closed off, and that’s when the friction started. The communication would go on and off because I told him I didn’t like how purely physical he's now keeping things between us.

Every time that happened, he would disappear for a few weeks. This only started happening since March (He’s avoidant, but he’d never disappear for that long before.)

Then came our latest “fight.” Same theme again. He was pushing for you know what, and I called him ungrateful. He said he missed seeing me, but I kind of left him there for a day.

I texted him a few times after, but no response. You know, avoidant shutdown.

Three and a half weeks later, he texted me, but I didn’t pick up like usual because I was hurt, and he didn’t follow up. It’s been a month.

During all this, he’d still like my stories and posts on IG. Yesterday I texted him on IG, but I don’t think he has read it.

Then a few hours ago, a girl followed me. I checked her profile and guess what... pictures of them traveling and kissing.

Idk. I’m feeling a lot right now and really need to vent and I feel very stupid right now. Like I should’ve picked up the clues earlier and connected the dots. But good to know I guess. also how do I move forward?

What is your interpretation of the lyrics "Love like a tongue in the nostril"

I find the lyrics rather peculiar and I know it can be interpreted literally literally. But what's your personal interpretation of it, other than the action it depicts?

Do you need to floss every day if you get regular dental cleanings?

I do floss every day, but I sometimes wonder if it’s okay to skip a day or two since I get my teeth cleaned every six months.

Does daily flossing still make a big difference between cleanings?
