If you’re like me and you have a bunch of loosies in your collection, I found a solution that works for me. I bought a bunch of Christmas and throwaway cd’s in clear cases from a thrift store for .25 a piece and emptied them, then used a vintage Dymo embossing label maker I found to label the spines. I love how it looks!
It was half-price day at my local spca with a wooden nickel and I see this absolute unit tagged at $150 (still a decent price in my area) but at $75 I couldn’t resist. Words cannot describe the effort it took getting it from the store onto my tv stand but it was well worth it and I got a great workout doing it (I’m sore af tbh)
Now I have the sudden urge to slam a few Halo 3 Mountain Dews and pwn some n00bz on UT2K3 while blasting Korn
Rescued a CyberpowerPC for $30 at a thrift store. Replaced a dead water cooler with an air cooler and put an RX 580 in and some led strips and now it’s running like a champ! It’s my most modern PC, I typically build and play XP era rigs so this modest setup is enough to blow my mind lol.
It all started with a Frankie doll I got her because she’s a big fan of anything Frankenstein-related, and it’s become a full-blown obsession for her. She mostly collects Frankie, but there’s a few other ghouls she’s started to get into as well. It’s a cute hobby and I’ve probably learned more MH lore than the average dude listening to her talk about them and tracking down the new ones she wants.
