CT to ME

Life Long Connecticut resident here looking to move to Maine! We are a family of 4 with two kids under 5years old. We are looking for somewhere not so rural its 30mins between stores. But not so fast moving city life. Looking at a $350k-500k average for homes in the area with the right environment to rent out another home as well. If any former Connecticut-ers are here: we would love an area like Wallingford, Rocky Hill or Guilford. We would like to avoid anywhere like Meriden, Waterbury, New Haven style cities

Bought dress not knowing "dress code" wedding is this weekend

Attire says semi formal with knee or midi length. Wedding is at 6pm. Don't really have the time to go shopping again this for a new dress, is this appropriate? The dress is NOT denim!!! Its a denim color but it is canvas in material. I don't have any other wedding attire dresses that are appropriate for the season/all long sleeved

Update: My nail tech did NOT paint the light reflection on my nails this time

Idk I felt like with the way my last post went, I needed to update everyone that I went with Sqoval shaped Gel X nails that don't look like ~checks notes~ bulbous t rex claws in the color of Yoda poop.... thanks internet!
