Got my Priority Apollo Flat Bar about a month ago and performed some tweaks/upgrades to make it exactly to my liking. Ended up very nice and did a first serious ride on it today (Tour de Bronx).

I am not a "real" cyclist, so some choices are unconventional:

• Don't like drop bars. They might be superior, more ergonomical, etc. - I get it. That are widely used for a reason. But I don't like them, so flat bar it is.
• I don't use padded shorts. I should be able to ride bike in any attire I am. Also I always felt this one distinct factor between bike to go places vs bike for exercising. I use bike to go places, exercising is just a bonus. So I needed wider, more practical saddle, which is Bontranger Commuter Comp.
• I don't ride clipless. Similar reason as above. So flat platform pedals and any shoes are fine!
• I have a stand! I used ebike before where stand is standard and struggled a lot with Priority first since I can make the bike just stand when I need! How do people manage this? There are no good stands for regular bikes in US - either cheap crap or super heavy things targeting ebikes. SO I had to order high-quality one from Europe - HEBIE Lite Fix 40.

However, I like numbers so I got power meter installed on this thing (Power2Max NGeco Road). Took some time to find version compatible with Gates cog, but otherwise installation was straightforward.

Otherwise, there are some pretty standard accessories and few decorative items to add red accents to the bike (those Hope rotors while being top notch quality and perfectly contributing to the aesthetics are super-duper expensive). Stock color scheme is boring - I had to fix it! And removed those brown tires - didn't work well with my color scheme.

I am considering the setup complete, but might need to adjust some things with more rides and understanding what may I need to add or change.

Overall, Priority are great! I still have their original bike from 2014 or 2015. It was belt-driven (obviously - this is Priority after all), but this was CDrive belt system, not Gates. And it had 7 speed IGH with coaster brakes in them. Probably not many know how Priority started, but this is how.

Hi all! Hope everyone enjoying the summer rides out there as much as I am! Got a chance to do a quick photoset of my trusty 64 on the 3rd year of ownership. During first two years I completed most of technical enhancements, so this season I focused mostly of look and aesthetics.

To achieve more polished look I decided to unify the color pallette of the bike to be 3 colored: black/brown/golden. To achieve this I blacked out most of the parts (replaced/wrapped/painted), replaced the turn and rear light (got smoked gray options with better look & finish), cleaned up mess on the dash, masked unwanted colors, replaced stickers and logos and added some stripes to balance the colors. Very happy with the outcome - bike looks and feels much more professional and integral overall.

Got lot of fun working on it as usual. Really hoping to see the Aviator soon to start from scratch 😀

This is modern reincarnation of well known Bullhead Chronograph, this time quartz, Eco-Drive powered and even with alarm! Got it few years back from Citizen store in NYC. Really wanted it on bund strap, as original was, but Citizen didn't bother to offer such an option. So I had to go a bit creative and "built" bund from mostly matching 3rd-party strap. One of many Eco-Drive watches in my collection and for sure most unorthodox one.

Do you like it or hate it?

I owned several Breitling models though years but this one is special for sure. Due to GMT+ Chrono complication it provides a combination you rarely find in a single watch. The light beige dial with light red accents makes it compatible with pretty much any strap. Legibility is not great, it is large and not thin watch, but I still like it a lot and trying to give it wrist time every time I can.

My recent purchase paired with glowing ZULUDIVER band - perfect light&slim summer combo!

Tron: Legacy is still best of Tron yet! Added a small TV so I can enjoy it in my Tron themed garage. Don't get me wrong, OG movie is a masterpiece and Ares was fun, but Legacy is the one I would rewatch one more time in pretty much any mood.

Did a big post about my Tron-themed garage some time back, so won't repeat anything here. Just a single photo of my electric cafe racer bike in the garage - got some time to spend with bike thanks to long weekend. For me, there is nothing in the world more relaxing than working on your own bike in your own garage!

This is version 3 of my 3d-printed Beeline GPS adapter. Since it has some space underneath I was thinking how can I leverage it. And this is what I ended up with. Pretty handy, but probably redundant. Anyway, it was fun designing, printing and installing it!

Following the ideas I borrowed from /u/divinethreshold I did similar mod for my front fork to get rid of silver fork legs. Together with bigger headlight make Beachman looks bigger and more serious, which is good or bad depending on your preference. I personally think it adds some substance to the bike, making it feel beefier and I like it!

I am adding some extra magnetic buttons for my saddlebags, so got a chance to revise their content:

1. Electric pump with quick release hose
2. Tools bag (can post about what is inside if somebody interested)
3. Brake disk lock from Kryptonite
4. No-name brake lever lock
5. Beeline GPS case

Hello, fellow Beachmans! I got the situation to park the bike on the incline recently and it is actually was not an easy thing to do. Since I don't have "real" motorcycle riding experience, I checked what solutions are there for "real" motorcycles.

What I learn is quite straightforward - on majority on ICE bikes with clutch, the solution is simply leave the bike with a gear engaged - this will block bike from rolling, as transmission will serve as a brake. For those models without clutch (like Honda DCT equipped models), there is additional stationary brake in place, which activates separate brake caliper on the rear brake disk.

However electrical bikes (even big and heavy, like Livewire models), don't have any preinstalled! Same as Beachman. So, here is my question - what is the best way to park on the incline, if kickstand / wheel angle setup is not enough? What do you do in such cases?

It looks like anti-theft lock like on the image is simple solution for the problem. Did anyone try? Any other ideas for same problem? Share you experience an/or opinions please!
