Can anyone else shed any light on the value of this clock? Shopkeeper says after fixed, would be worth about $1000, just a little skeptical and would like a second opinion before spending $350 to fix. Thanks!

Can you tell me anything about this clock? When it was made, where, by who, how much it may be worth?

Photos given to me by my late neighbor- her father Jack Garber took these in the '40s-50s. I kept a bunch and have no more room for the rest. They're original prints, mostly 14x11" - some on photo paper, some on board. Santa monica- asking $35 for all of them.
Cash preferred. The 2 of the male model are from a different photographer, from the late 70s. All in all about 37 photos total, a few duplicates.
