3D scanner for motorcycle parts

I think about buying a Creality Pika for scanning of motorcycle parts and things. I have no prior experience with 3D scanning. Is the software any good on a Mac? Is a Macbook Air M2 with 16gb ram good enough?
My phone is a Samsung S25, will this run the app sufficiently well?

600km daytrip into France

It is still perfect for longer rides with bad roads. And the long fuel range was handy too as some french gas stations are out of gas.

What would that be worth?

What would such a 748 be worth (europe)? I saw it in a parking garage sitting and i think about locating the owner and getting it as a project bike. My mechanical abilities so far go up to a valve service on modern japanes bike with shims. Engine rebuild would be above my abilites probably.

I assume it is not running and has a reason for just collecting dust and being neglected. Would it be even worth my time? Can i work on these without buying 100 special Ducati tools worth more than the bike?

Velocity Stacks (TPU)

I wonder if this will work as good as it looks, these are velocity stacks for a FZR 600 motorcycle. The OEM ones are made from rubber and are also the mount of the airbox. But they are 36 years old and do not really fit over the carbs properly anymore. They also take a 30 minute fight with the heatgun to get them somewhat mounted.

Geometry is mostly the same, especially the length is identical and diameter is as the carbs are, if it runs as it should im happy. I printed them as single TPU piece each.

First ride with my project bike

Today i was finally able to take my project bike for a spin. Its a 90' FZR 600. I worked on it since late February when i bought it in a sorry state where it was not running, took it apart, put it in zip lock bags and rebuilt it from there. In between i questioned my sanity and wondered if i could even finish it but looks like i could.

Some details still ned some sorting out but finally being able to ride it is awesome.

Took my 2012 for a spin today.

Almost 80k kms, did the big service before the season and had to change every shim. But she rides still as good as when i got her new.
I had many other bikes come and go over the years but always kept my S10.
