Anyone know how to turn off the alarm for taking an EV5 on a ferry?

Googled this and it says to go into the Convenience settings but there's nothing in there. I've turned off the Rear Occupant alarm but that doesn't seem related but recommended by AI.

Any ideas?

Changing lights setting for driving in Europe (UK to Europe)

So as per the rules for driving in Europe, the lights either need to be stickered to aim a different way or on some cars, you can change the light settings. Did some research and I'm still unclear if the EV5 has the option to change this? Chat GPT claims the AIR trim does not have this feature but can't see where its got that from. Cant see anything in the manual for this either.

I've got the AIR trim.

Thanks!

Is the latest NCE version of Necromunda 95 still worth playing over the OG?

My friends and I played Yaktribes community edition 7 or 8 years ago and we liked how faithful to the OG it was whilst addressing some ambiguous rules.

We're thinking of starting up again and I see the community edition has been continued and has evolved. I'm wondering how it holds up today and if people are choosing to play the latest NCE over the original 95 rules.

How different is the latest NCE to the original?

Best Custom Creative mode settings to create a Zero to Hero start?

With the new update I'd like to pick this game up again but I struggled a few years ago to get the game setup to my liking. I've heard that in custom creative mode you can disable the highways which I'm very keen to do. I used to use a mod for this but it's since broken due to updates.

I've heard of people doing the space suit start but think I want something a little easier to start with. Just a basic ship and hardly any credits.

So my question essentially is, what settings in creative mode would people recommend I do if I want to remove the highways and have a zero to hero playthrough.

Whats the difference between the squadron choices in the career mode? [BoS]

I'm fairly new to the game and I'm curious what difference this choice makes? Is it just starting location and different missions? So many to choose from so I'm a bit lost.

I've noticed some planes are greyed out/locked out but they still seem to be part of the BoS package not extra dlc so are they just locked out from my stage in the career?

Tbh I'm a bit lost trying to get into the career mode. What is the best way to play a 'zero to hero' playthrough? Any advice would be appreciated.

Fast travel in Kenshi

I get it that Kenshi isn't that type of game, and I love it for it. I never liked fast travel in other games either.

But I guess I'm not 20 years old anymore, with unlimited tree time and the patience to just wander the wilds for 3 or 4 hours! I keep wanting to come back to Kenshi but I just find the travel time a bit too long to get enough enjoyment out of the game for the little time I have to play video games these days.

I don't want shortcuts or immersion breaking solutions, I just wouldn't mind a feature or mod that gives me the option to travel a little more quickly. Is there anything like this for Kenshi? Two great examples are RDR2 and Morrowind. Having the train and the stilt riders respectively. They got you where you needed to go but it didn't feel immersion breaking like fast travel in fo4 or skyrim. I'd love something like this in Kenshi where you can pay to get onto transport or something.

TLDR: Is there a way to get a realistic/non-immersion breaking fast travel in Kenshi without using a teleportation mod?

Is there definitely no way to turn off (permanently) all these 'driving assistance' features?

Only had my new EV5 for 24 hours and its already doing my head in!

Is there no way to avoid having to turn off the following features every time I start the car?

(Eye tracker, speed limit beeper, lane assist (the one that steers the car)

What are the chances a future firm/software update will allow these settings to stay changed and/or assign car settings to a user or key?

The constant beeping I could maybe learn to ignore after a while but the lane steering is honestly going to cause an accident one day.

Choose correct climate for maps?

Black Forest is one of my favourite maps but I much prefer when it's actually the Black Forest climate. Not a big fan of when it turns into the jungle/bamboo style. Is there a way to make the climate/region style fixed?

Or will I have to make a custom map? If the latter, do I have to create from scratch or can I use one of the existing maps as a template?

Every time I need to charge there its just an awful experience. Has anyone been recently and can confirm they've improved things? Almost every time it's been faulty charging, completely out of service etc. Last year one of the chargers actually shut down my car (back voltage surge or something) and it wouldn't turn back on for 20 minutes. I was stuck in the charger bay the whole time debating whether I needed to get road side assistance!

I'm unable to use the Tesla chargers there unfortunately.

Both same price but the top one comes with way more accessories so wondering what the catch is and why it looks different.

UK based and both currently £199.
