“The Candy Pan” candy cutting pan

Does anyone have any experience with “The Candy Pan” or is it just an infomercial quality product that I’m falling for? I see ads for it constantly and am looking for any real reviews because most of what I see seems sponsored. Guitar cutters are out of my budget (I’m just a home candy maker at this time so spending $500+ on a cutter just doesn’t work for me right now) and I hold off on doing caramels or enrobed ganaches sometimes because the cutting is just exhausting for me. I mostly do molded bon bons mainly because I just don’t enjoy the marking and cutting process. The candy pan appears sturdy and the setup seems like it would work well with the notches on the side and the cutting blade that comes with it. Has anyone used it or have any other recommendations?

Looking to trade summer fruit picking for chocolate!

I make chocolate bon bons (as a hobby currently) and am looking for home owners in North Seattle growing raspberries, strawberries, cherries, plums, figs, or any other fruit. In exchange for picking at least 2 pints of fruit, I’ll keep one pint for myself and will return to you with the other pint in the form of a 12 count box of dark chocolate bon bons with ganache and/or jam fillings from your own fruit! I paint them with cocoa butter colors, the shells don’t contain dairy and can make the fillings vegan if requested. Send me a DM if interested :)

Last Sunday I had a small Guest order and the customer didn’t provide a name for the callbox and didn’t answer my calls or texts at delivery. Simple enough; this happens all the time right? Called support, they said keep the items and I’ll get paid. 8 days later there’s still no evidence of the order ever happening and I wasted gas and an hour of my time. Tried chat support, call support when I was on another batch, contacted on X and Instagram. I have screenshots of the order details and the call with support. I’ve gotten a range of responses from the order never happened, it happened but i won’t get paid, the payment is pending and my personal favorite, you already got paid. I’m at a loss and super bummed that I did an hour of work for nothing, but now i’m also concerned that there’s no accountability for this at all. It seems like if this is acceptable, any cancelled order can just be erased from the system and not paid out to the shopper. It’s fucked up. It’s even crazier because i’m in Seattle and they actually have laws against exactly this but I don’t know where to go from here to attempt to get paid for the order I did.
