Opened My First Case

I opened my first case today, after over 10 years of selling and buying. I have dozens of items I've received that should have had cases opened on, but out of pity or thoughts to somehow recoup, I just relisted the items with honest and improved descriptions, or donated the items to local charities taking a loss.

Since my own inventory has now increased and has taken up so much space in my home and things (mostly NWT) just aren't moving, I can't take anymore bait and switch, poorly described, or outright dishonest items anymore.

I want to say if it's too good of a deal then likely you are getting what you pay for, or worse. I guess I just wanted to vent because I'm so sick of so many sellers trying to pass something off hoping a sucker like me will come along and not open a case.

I'm now officially opening cases on sellers who are not providing what their listing describes. If it doesn't have tags and it's listed NWT, I'm opening a case. If it's listed in excellent condition and it has a hole or stain, I'm opening a case.

If everyone on Poshmark made every attempt to be honest it would be good for EVERYONE who uses the site.

Where'd all the cotton go?

👑 Whatever happened to King Cotton? Sheets are microfiber! It's so hard to find even cotton blend socks anymore! Anybody else wondering? What gives?

Chocolate Spoiler

When I was a kid and my family would get a rare box of chocolates I did something not so great. I didn't like certain kinds of chocolates, mostly the ones with fruity centers, so I'd carefully stick my finger through the bottom of each chocolate (just enough) to see if it was the kind I liked or not then place the rejects back in their space as though they were still pristine.

"[I ate]" a Cold Meatloaf Sammich

I think I like meatloaf better the next day, it even slices neater! I smear ketchup on my meatloaf near the end of its baking, how 'bout you?

Can you get in trouble?

If you see someone unresponsive and you suspect it's a drug overdose so you administer a dose of Narcan, are there any legal ramifications that can happen to you, say if they had fainted or were drunk or were suffering some other medical issue you weren't aware of?

Include a Free Liked Item

A couple of times when someone has made a terrific bundle I will include a liked item they did not include in their bundle for free. I've always had great responses to this and it makes me feel good. Plus I clean out my closet! Has anyone ever done this or considered doing it?

What weird family thing did you say or do while traveling?

When I was a kid riding in the car with my family we'd all hold our breath while passing a graveyard. It was really hard to do when it was a loooong graveyard! If you took a breath you were "bit by a graveyard snake", utter doom! Did anybody else play that game in the car with your family? Share your thoughts or similar memories.

What would be considered fair?

If you could find and prove another person hacked into your phone, or personal information in order to harass or use the information against you (not for immediate financial gain or financial scam) what would be fair punishment as far as compensation or jail time?
