Hey folks, anyone know what the rj45 pinout is for Starlink mini Ethernet cables? The one I have has the same end on both sides and it’s now stuck in my laptop. I think I can depress the release lever with a small flathead. Want to replace with a regular rj45, you know so it’s removable. But I don’t know if it’s T568B, T568A or something else.

Thinking about picking up this set of flip sockets to keep in my truck with my impact. Anyone ever use these? I’m not sure how deep of a socket you need for those dually wheels and how much extension you’d need to get around the axle in the middle. Thanks!

I have a pretty tough situation for a standard vacuum cleaner, as pictured. It’s in a work trailer, so there’s vinyl penny flooring, commercial low pile carpet, and E-track set down in the floor.
I know I’m asking for a miracle, but you don’t get anything if you don’t ask. Do you guys have any recommendations for this?
My ideal criteria is:
- Can handle at least the commercial carpet and height variations (if it rides up on that raised aluminum it can still clean next to it, asking it to clean inside the tie down track is insane, I know)
- upright or stick, I know a shop vac will get down into that track no problem but this trailer is 30 feet long
- corded
- budget is flexible as the company is paying for it

I’m looking to get more into fishing off the boat, in and around the Boston harbor islands. Mainly striper but I’m not sure what else is around here.
I need a good jumping off point, I’m willing to spend like $200-$250 on a first salt water rod and reel.
It’s a little embarrassing but the only thing I’ve ever caught is a cold. True beginner. I’ve had a boat since I was 13 and I’ve dropped a line in maybe 3 times, with random rods I found in the basement. I want to leave a rod on the boat so I can just decide on a whim or when I see something on the sonar.
What do you guys recommend? I just have no idea where to even start. What sort of criteria should I be looking for? How much line should I have? (It’s typically 25-50 feet deep).

Hey folks. This is my first slip in over 10 years (I was 14 when we last had a slip). Should I be flushing the motor every use? My last boat was trailered and I’d flush it after every use. It’s just with the motor trimmed up in the slip I wasn’t sure if I should. Probably, right? Thanks
Hey folks. I’ve always jacked my trailers up by the suspension equalizer to change tires, pack bearings or inspections. Never done it to a loaded trailer, always just empty cargo trailers or flatbeds. Is it safe to lift up a loaded trailer there? It’s a 7k gvwr trailer, no idea what it weighs as loaded but I want to jack up the side the slide is on just so I can slide some 2x6s under the wheels and level it without hooking up the truck. Or do I just jack up under one axle?
Or do I bite the bullet and move everything from in front of the trailer, adjust my trailer hitch, switch balls and hook on just to pull forward 6 feet and reverse 6 feet?
Hey folks. Lemme start by saying this isn’t my truck, or at least I don’t drive it. Borrowed another employees company truck for the 1000 mile drive to Chicago tomorrow because he has a truck cap on his. Got everything loaded and secured today. Only place I went was the gas station to the car wash and back to the shop.
I have no idea how this happened, I don’t think it happened today. But am I SOL on this one? Rear drivers side. F250.
I have a 2019 outrage 230. I want to add the bow sunshade to it, but don’t have what looks like rod holder on the bow. Has anyone installed one of these before? Is that a part of the kit or would I need to order something separate?

Hey folks. I posted on here a while ago about my trailer brakes. Dad someone pulled away from the trailer with the breakaway cable attached. I have a Dexter/UFP A75 surge brake tongue on it. The cable broke completely. However, because I had the mechanical lockout in (we were moving it with a forklift) the brakes weren’t locked up. I got the wrong part in, then realized I was in over my head anyways taking it apart so the plan became: get the boat in the water, then bring the empty trailer to the trailer service center.
I’m planning on splashing the boat for the season tomorrow. If I take this mechanical lockout off, will the brakes function like normal, less the breakaway cable? I’ve only gotta go 4 miles to the ramp but I’m still nervous about it. I’m also nervous about the lockout getting damaged or damaging the tongue.
But I’m far more nervous that for some reason I’ll pull it out, hit the brakes once and they won’t unlock. Is this a possibility? Or am I overthinking it?

Hey folks! That time of year to get the boat out, washed and waxed before it goes in the slip.
Just had a quick question about what you guys are using for a soap; are you using a strip wash and stripping all the old wax? Or just get it good and clean with a regular soap and wax from there?
Also, what do you use for polish? My t-top needs a little attention. Thanks guys!
Hey folks. I’m trying to print this toilet paper holder I found on printables. Dropped it into the Bambu slicer, .12mm layer height to try to make it more presentable. Otherwise it’s default settings.
I’ve seen a video on YouTube where the issue was varying speed (it’ll slow down for more intricate parts and they cool differently?) that seems like it might be the case here. Where it has longer sections it prints faster. I can’t remember what setting they changed though.
