Just bought the rulebook, got some cars split and stripped with orange paste, bought a cool felt racing map. Just gotta print some dice and movement tiles and tokens. My gaming group is on board. Anyone got advice on making drilling the rivets out easier? I really used alot of force with the hand drill...

Brunswick Ohio (Refuge). 4 Great Beasts (Squiggoths) plus some Magic Ambush Commanders vs a bunch of Goblin Tanks with heavy firepower. Orcs won but it was quite bloody.
Robot Legion vs Orc Marauders vs HDF. Orcs came in first, HDF second and Robots last. Cleveland Ohio.
Cleveland Ohio (Gamers Haven in Parma). Except for turn 2 where the 2 Robot Legion players teamed up, then the others broke their alliance (Star Wars Faction, Orc Marauders Faction and Titan Lords allied with Cat Girls Faction).
Tied 1 to 1. I (the green skins) got lucky with all my machine gun rolls (lots of 6s popping) while the rats where rolling to hits terribly. Close match and fun game.
I've played quite a few JRPGs in my lifetime, at least compared to my friendgroup, but I've only finished a handful. This is just a list of the games I've dropped and never finished (and why), vs the ones I did actually finish. What games have you dropped vs. finished? I've only ever finished 4 JRPGs, currently working on Chrono Trigger which I highly suspect I will finish.

Final Fantasy 10 - Didn't Finish, dropped it as soon as they forced me to play sports which I hate, story was great, but not gonna play sports games no matter what
Final Fantasy 9 - I don't know why I didn't finish. I really wanted to like it, but never got out of the starting town early game. Maybe it was the Chibi artstyle compared to 8?
Star Ocean 2nd Story - Got stuck in a cave with 1 hp for each character and no way to heal so gave up.
Final Fantasy Tactics - Didn't finish, kept losing battles over and over again, never got addicted to the gameplay loop.
Breath of Fire 3 - Got stuck in a hours long haunted house dungeon with high random encounter rates that was so frustrating that I decided I was done with that game.
Chrono Cross - Quit after the Horse stables minigame early-on where you have to feed the horses. I was all in on this game until that annoying minigame (I hate mandatory minigames, see FFX above).
Chrono Trigger - I'm currently 10+ hours in and am loving the shit out of it. The best JRPG I've ever played. I'm absolutely going to finish this one. I'm kinda glad I didn't play this first, or it would have ruined all JRPGs for me in the future. Encounters are natural and not random, story/writing is amazing. Everything the fanboys have written over the years about this game are true.

2k either Grimdark or Fantasy at Gamers Haven in Parma Heights Ohio today. We had 3 HDF players, Robot Legion, Machine Cult, Blessed Sisters, Dark Brothers and Titan Lords. We allowed a single ally for 20% (80/20 split). Everyone had fun and prizes were won.
