Any streaming content to show off a new 4k TV with HDR?

I’m setting up my new TV (replacing a 10 year old 55” with a 75” QM8K) this week and interested in watching as much stuff as possible that shows off its capabilities. In addition to being much bigger and brighter than my current TV, this will be my first TV with HDR support. I have some 4K Blu Rays to watch and some 4k rips on my computer, but beyond that I was wondering if there is anything on the major streaming service (or YouTube) that fully take advantage of 4k and HDR?

Tried to list an item, but couldn’t because it’s been recalled, yet others are actively listed.

I have several Red Copper 5 Minute Chef electric cookers. So I cleaned them up, took some pictures, and made a listing. Listing was refused due to the item being recalled and it said “Do not delist.” Yet there are multiple active listings of the exact same product with the exact same model number on eBay. How does this make sense?

Coaches, what do your practices look like during the season?

Last year was my second year of coaching varsity XC. For the most part we only have meets on Saturdays (a few exceptions). So most of the season did Monday: long run, Tuesday some tempo work, Wednesday a lighter day (slower pace but not as long as Monday), Thursday very light some shorter tempo work mixed in, Friday roughly 3 mile jog, Saturday race. However last year we had a lot of kids who had never really ran before, but they graduated so I’m reevaluating pretty much everything we do.
So for those of you with Saturday meets, what do you normally do during the week? Trying to find a balance of putting in enough work to get them ready but not wear them out.

Found in the Goodwill Bins yesterday.

99% of the time the records in the bins aren’t even worth looking through, but every so often you can get lucky.
I probably haven’t heard anything from this album in decades and don’t think I’ve ever heard the whole thing. Listened to “Feel It” via YouTube on the ride home cause I could remember liking that song. Excited to check out the features.

Also as an interesting tidbit, this album was released on September 11, 2001.

Has anybody had a good experience with the TCL extended warranty?

I am very close to pulling the trigger on a 75" QM8K and really one of the last decisions is to decide whether I buy it from Best Buy or direct from TCL. Besides having a small coupon code for TCL, the biggest difference as far as I can tell is the extended warranty offered. You can buy an extended warranty from both and based on reading comments it seems like while the Best Buy extended warranty is more expensive most people seem happy with the experience if they actually have to use it, while the TCL extended warranty is cheaper I feel like most comments I have read about actually dealing with it have been negative. So, has anyone had a good experience with a warranty direct from TCL when there was an issue with your TV?

Are there any multi pump BB guns that you pump like the Daisy Model 25 (like a shotgun)?

In the market for a BB gun (would be used with BB only) and leaning towards a multi pump for more power, but looking at reviews and videos I really like how you pump the Model 25. Are there any multi pump BB guns that pump like that?

What BB gun would you recommend?

I already have a nice pellet gun that I am happy with (Gamo Swarm Maxxim 10X Gen 2), but I would like to pick up something just for BBs. Now I haven't regularly used a BB gun for like 25 years, so I am a bit out of the loop of what's available.

Here is what I am looking for in a BB gun:

  • Multi Pump
  • Large BB Reservoir (minimum 50, but the more the better)
  • At least 800fps
  • Under $125

So far after some quick research I am considering: Crosman Legacy 1000, Daisy Powerline 880, Umarex NXG APX, and Barra Sportsman 900 (I think it looks cool). Any of those good choices? Is there a good option I am not considering?

Am I crazy for wanting to replace my 10 year old Sony 4k TV?

I currently have a 55" Sony Bravia 4k (XBR-55X850C) that I bought in 2016. And honestly, I have no real complaints about the picture quality. It looks good and works good. I needed to buy a fire stick because the stock OS was getting slow, but that's really the only issue I have had with it. I use it every single day for streaming, gaming, and movies. However, I have been thinking about getting a new TV. Why, you might ask. Two main reasons. Size and possibly improving visual quality,

The biggest reason is that I want a bigger TV. I want to go from a 55" to a 75-77".

Also having not shopped or paid attention to new TV technological advancements for 10 years I feel like newer TVs have to be better than my current TV. Sure a Sony Bravia is a nice TV, but my current model has basically no HDR support. So many new things have popped up on the market since my purchase (mini-LED, QLED, etc), I feel like I will be impressed by the visual quality of a new TV.

I also originally wanted to get an OLED but I might opt for a mini-LED (though that decision is TBD).

So am I being dumb and thinking of an upgrade when I don't really need one? Or has technology progressed enough to warrant an upgrade?

Did I just get a text alert for a train I’m not riding?

I am riding the Floridian 41 from Chicago, getting off in Toledo. The Floridian 41 originated in Chicago before eventually ending in Miami.
My train is scheduled to leave at 6:40pm. I got a text alert at 9:00am saying the Floridian 41 is delayed 5 hours and will delayed more once it arrives in Jacksonville.
So I thought oh now my train is gonna be super delayed but then after thinking about it and checking a train tracking site, the Floridian 41 that is currently on the track is just about to arrive in Jacksonville and is 5 hours delayed.
Is that not a different train that’s just on the same route than my actual train? Like the train currently running that route shouldn’t affect my train leaving on that route later today, right? Or is that train scheduled to go all the way to Miami and then back to Chicago tonight?
I ride the train once a year but still a novice about how most of it works so I’m currently confused.

Games like Slime Rancher 2 currently on Game Pass?

Was just thinking about Slime Rancher 2 and that I liked playing it while it was on Game Pass as a Game Preview. I’m contemplating picking it up, but in the meantime are there any similar games currently on Game Pass? Games where you collect stuff to upgrade to collect more stuff to upgrade more…
