Favorite site to source beads?

I’m hoping to make this bracelet with blue apatite 6mm and picture Jasper 2x6 rondelles. Where do you like to go online to source beads? I have to make about 40 of these.

Gemstone bracelets

Just started so my inventory is small. This literally helps me pay rent while working a nonprofit job I love so thank you 🙏

I have mookaite, ocean jasper, and jade by itself or Jade with wood jasper. Pick your journey, they’re made to wander with you. All orders come with a matching rock (though I couldn’t get Jade so it’s moss agate).

$30 plus $5 for shipping. Venmo please. Thank you!!

Rio Grande National Forest Publishes Draft Winter Travel Plan

Do you recreate on Wolf Creek Pass or Cumbres/La Manga during the winter on top of your normal Molas and Red Mountain adventures? Then you should submit a comment by this Saturday telling the Rio Grande National Forest how you want them to manage the national forest for winter use. Talking points for human-powered users can be found here.

Ocean Jasper Bracelets made in Colorado

Hi everyone, for advertisement Sunday, I’m selling these gorgeous ocean jasper bracelets. I make these on the side of my full-time job advocating for recreation access on our national forests. I was recently separated and trying to make it on a single income. Supporting me helps me pay off debt and build something bigger. I enjoy crafting bracelets that match the rock slabs I buy at gem shows and would like to get equipment to polish those too. Thanks!

First time making these!!

First time making stretch bracelets. I could not figure out how to tie the knot though. Any tips? I was as basic as possible so I know there are other methods but all my knots are exposed and won’t fit inside the bead.

Hand polishing help

Hi everyone. I’m new to rock polishing. I am doing everything by hand or with a dremel. I’m struggling to get that nice finish. I’m guessing I’m not starting course enough? (Not all of these have been polished and sanded yet, this after washing them). This adventurine for example has been sanded twice from 800-1000-1500-2500 and polished with cerium oxide. I’m also guessing the CO I bought isn’t strong enough. So I thought I’d go to the experts (you all) to see what I’m doing wrong.

Clean engine

Have been off-roading a bunch and under the hood was DIRTY! I did a spray down. Any tips?

Simple car camping setup for one

Pretty stoked to upgrade my car camping setup. I travel allllll across Colorado's public lands for work, but I don't like to bring a ton of gear with me. Longer term goal-- 4 season car camping.

This was taken last week just west of the Great Sand Dunes National Park.

Rio Grande National Forest Publishes Draft Winter Travel Plan - yes includes the CDT!

The Rio Grande National Forest is one step closer to making one of the most important winter management decisions in decades. Your voice is needed!

We encourage the Forest Service to continue minimizing conflicts by protecting high-value non-motorized recreation areas, including the Continental Divide National Scenic Trail, and ensuring adequate separation between motorized and non-motorized recreation where conflicts are most likely to occur.

Winter Wildlands Alliance will be hosting a series of community workshops throughout the comment period to help members understand the DEIS and participate effectively in the process.

Recommendations - Cinnamon Pass

I'll be visiting Creede and Lake City next week. I have a Subaru Forester Wilderness with Falken Wildpeaks A/T Trail tires. Do you think I'll be able to drive Cinnamon Pass relatively okay?
