I got the popup and they are headed to my base right now. I have not killed or imprisoned any leaders. I haven’t even seen them yet. I’ve just been trying to level my guys fighting skills by fighting reavers in Stobes garden. Is this a bug and if so what should I do about it? No way I can survive the raid, I only have three crossbow turrets and all of my fighters are out of the base across the map.
I’m pretty new to RimWorld, I’ve tried several times to get a long play through going but weather usually takes me out. Gas clouds and the like, so for this one I turned all that stuff off. My base is basically a giant rectangle with little rectangular buildings inside.
I have 7 pawns and one is non violent and another has combat skills at 0. The other pawns have relatively low shooting skills between 7-15. I made a little area with an opening and some traps and so far that has taken care of the “raids”. The most people I’ve had attack was 5 until I just had my first encounter with drop pods.
What’s the best way to keep the base secure when none of my guys can shoot and they land right in my base? Should I just build a ton of those mini turret things?
I’m brand new to the game I have about 20-25 hours played and that’s just learning how to move around haha. I bought my first mining ship and captain and I’m trying to get it automated. I go into property owned-all ships and I right click on the ship and go to information then I go over to the behavior tab.
Then I go to default behavior and set it to local automine. The asteroid field that I want it to mine is in Grand Exchange 3 that is also where the silicone refinery is that I want to sell the silicone to. Under default behavior I have the ware set as silicone and when I set the anchor space I select grand exchange 3 but when I click that it sets it as Grand Exchange/Grand Exchange 3 which I assume is because that’s the sector and cluster or whatever they’re called.
The mining ship then goes to grand exchange 1 and will start mining but there is nowhere to sell the ore in grand exchange 1 so then it just stops. I told it manually to mine in GE3 and it did but then it won’t automatically sell the ore, I will have to tell it to. Is there a way I can get it to mine and sell without having to micro manage? Sorry about the lengthy post.
Not the taller ones in black armor, they are easy. The short fuckers, I can’t figure out their tells. I know the one when he stands there staring at the ground for a sec he will quickly attack but otherwise he’s kicking my ass. Then I ran into one that had a spear or something and he murdered me. I see a dragon in the distance so I’m frightened, not sure if I’ll even reach it.
I’m trying to play it now and I noticed a lot of times I will get hit right in the middle of a dodge roll which seems strange. I also noticed when fighting those iron turtle guys sometimes when they do their overhead swing my guy kind of gets locked in the animation and it won’t let me dodge.
I’m doing this quest where we take back the free mine and he is just slaughtering everyone! There are still diggers alive and he’s knocking them down and hammering their chest with his axe to make sure they’re dead. He killed like 10 diggers. Then he tried to attack me several times so I’d beat his ass then he’d move on to the next group. Is he supposed to be murdering the diggers? He was mourning them before we came in.
Hey all, I’m about 50 hours into my play through and when I went to start the game this morning it won’t start. I’m on PS5 and when I try to play it runs the opening logo’s to the THQ Nordic logo then the next screen that says Gothic Remake then the screen goes black and the opening music starts playing but the screen stays black.
I’ve tried pressing X to see if the game would play, I’ve closed the game out about 5 times, I’ve reset the console and it still isn’t working. Anyone else have this issue?
Whenever I go into battle with a couple other parties for some reason every single time they send all of our Calvary and horse archers in to be decimated. It’s so hard to watch and I can’t do anything about it because I don’t command those troops. An example is right now one of our castles was being sieged by 600 nords and I only had my party with 335 and two other parties with about 100 each. So we were even but of course we lose 100 right at the start because they were sent to charge. Any way to stop this from happening?
I was just doing the Menhard duel and I never remember to taunt so I hit the taunt button and Henry yells “I feel quite Hungry!!” This was new to me and it caught me by surprise, I don’t know if it’s an Easter egg but definitely a nod to fans.
I have already cleared the level and finished the bounty pack 2 missions. I have not done the ordinite processor because I can’t find it. I’ve searched online but haven’t found a clear answer. Someone said to go back to the stone demons room but I don’t see anything there. Any help would be appreciated.
My first play through I was a vassal for the Khuzaits and it was great for the most part. This play through I’m a vassal for the southern empire and I keep having to fight Monchugs armies, which wouldn’t be such a big deal but he always has 100+ horse archers and they tear up my units. Would going heavy Calvary help this or what’s a good strat?
Probably like a lot of you I was using the mod “better time” because it is faster on the world map. With the new update it doesn’t work and so I was looking for an alternative. I’ve been playing without it and it is unbearable lol, I forgot how slow the default fast forward is.
When the game updated the other day it screwed all my mods so I decided I would buy warsails and start a new game. I did the naval tutorial but then didn’t touch naval combat until day 300 in game. There is still so much I don’t know but if anyone’s on the fence I’d get it. It adds something new, the ship battles get crazy with the bad weather and stuff.
I’ve been playing through this game the last couple days and it seems they don’t really mind if people know who they are.
I’ve noticed whenever I siege a castle my guys always aim for some ridiculous spot that won’t hurt anyone or anything and they just keep firing. Is there a way to tell them what to fire at or anyway to resolve this problem?
As soon as the battle starts, every battle, my in game brother charges the enemy infantry immediately. Just takes off on his horse and rides to war by himself. First thing I see is his name in red in the top right. Anyone know why he’s doing this and if there’s anything I can do to make him stop?
I am so tired of every time I leave a fuckin town a popup asks if I wanna let my guys pick apples or bury someone. I love the one where we just fought 300v600 and as soon as the battle ends I get a pop up “your guys have noticed how much money you’ve been making”. Anyway to disable those?
I’m pretty new to the game, only 120 hours or so but I was in the middle of a field battle and I saw a chunk of enemy troops in one of the rivers treading water. They weren’t going anywhere they were all just treading water. There were 45 of them because that was my kill count after I slaughtered them and they were my first kills.
I’m a vasal with the Khuzaits and I feel like the AI is not doing me any favors. We were at war with Sturgia and the Aserai at the same time which was a nightmare because everyone was running north and south. Not at war with Sturgia anymore but as soon as we made peace with them Monchug went and declared war with the western empire.
I have 15 fiefs and they all border the western empire. So while every place I own is getting attacked Monchug and all the other assholes have been fighting over Shibal Zumr Castle. One side takes it and back and forth so most of the army is over there. And I’m in the same situation over at Onica castle. I own it but they take it and then I take it back. No one is getting anywhere. I want to go on the offensive and take Zeonica but I just don’t have enough people and I don’t think I can get anymore. Any tips for this stalemate?
And where do all their troops keep coming from? They keep coming with 1100 troop armies and I keep destroying them, shouldn’t they run out of troops or something?
I’m not blaming the game, I have horrible eyes but I can never tell who is who. In big field battles I’ll hold ALT the entire time because it helps a little. There are times when I have to let go of ALT and I start shooting my guys in the back.
