PLEASEE help I need movies/shows that feel like these. I need to be able to access them in the UK (can’t watch Lascars here and can’t find MFKZ anywhere 💔)
I don’t like anime, michiko & hatchin was the only anime I ever enjoyed bc the art style is slightly more urban and cartoony imo. I love that it was based in Brazil I like when a show is based in a specific country/on a specific culture.
I also love mtv downtown and rewatch all the eps every year and have to act like I’ve never seen it before which is very heartbreaking.
I love urban, sketch style cartoons that have the big city feel. Sorry I don’t know how to explain myself but pls help me thank you for any suggestions <3

Can be YT Amazon prime Netflix whatever !!!

EDIT UPDATE too many good anime suggestions. Anime is officially not that bad

My neighbours keep arguing whilst I’m babysitting their child

My next door neighbours have a baby who I’ve been looking after over the past few months. I go to their house like 3/4 times a week, it just gives them a chance to do normal household stuff and work whilst their child is occupied by me. I really like them and honestly enjoy their company and look forward to seeing them most of the time, and I love their kid.

However, they have really weird passive aggressive arguments over really minor things. Usually it’s fine because they don’t last long. But it’ll be something stupid, like the woman not giving the man the exact details for something they need to attend (e.g. saying it starts at 8 instead of 9 because she forgot) or her bringing in a parcel for the kid and not instantly mentioning to him that it’s for the kid and not her (I’m making him sound horrible, he’s not, he’s just ultra-specific and I think anxious, she spends a lot of the argument just saying sorry and brushing it off) but it’s not always him in the wrong. They’re actually both ultra specific individuals and quite strange but I do love them.

Anyway today they argued for like almost an hour about changing the baby in their office (which is much bigger than his room) after his bathtimes. She asked him to move some stuff around so it’s more baby proof and he kept talking about how it’s not his room and he doesn’t know why she won’t just change him in his room. I’m usually present during this time of the day and I get why she changes him in there, it’s more spacious, not dangerous and it’s nice for him to roam around naked for a bit before getting ready for bed (his room is way too small for much movement).

They went back and forth for almost an hour and me and the kid were both in the same room. Usually they argue upstairs (I can hear it) and it was so awkward and became unbearable and I was holding myself back from telling them to STFU and argue when I’m not there. They’re overly polite and modest so its really difficult to be blunt with them even when they ask me for hard truths and advice (which happens often, and I’m 23 and they’re in their 40s) I know being a new parent is hard and they r both exhausted and overworked but I don’t want to be around that energy almost every time I’m there, and at the end of it they even asked for my opinion to which I said it’s not my place sorry I don’t know. Earlier before the argument she asked him where to move something and he said ‘you can put it in my bedroom, which you could visit sometimes’ (she sleeps in the baby’s room for now) like wtf? Awkward isn’t even the word.

I love them but I know they’ll be really embarrassed if I say anything, if it happens again, or even if it doesn’t, should I ask them to be more thoughtful about doing it in front of me? Or should I just accept it. They don’t shout or swear or anything, it’s like overly polite and passive (prob cos I’m there). Idk what to do

How can I achieve the eyebrows that I want? Inspo pic included

These are my eyebows, they’re thin, angular and grow really far down (they are dyed in the third pic when my hair was darker) I really want them to grow closer together, I love when eyebrow hairs grow inwards/upwards at the front of the brow, and are long but less arched (I don’t like the look of fully straight for myself) I gel my brows in that shape but obvs it doesn’t last. I use a brow serum and concentrate on applying it at the front but idk if it’s going to help. Should I trim down the front hairs? Also should I thin them in general? I feel like I have absolutely no direction when it comes to my eyebrows I don’t know what suits me at all.

I also feel like I can’t wear eyeliner bc I do a thin line going up/outwards and try to make my mascara go outwards on the ends but it clashes with the ends of my brows which go downwards and it just looks weird together

Any suggestions or recs would be super appreciated <3

Sublime Vanille is my dream cold crisp vanilla

I tried the mini sample of Sublime Vanille by Creed and fell in love straight away but a full bottle is £400 (🫪) so my 10ml sample just arrived today. This perfume gives November, December, January. Cold, crispy, icy vanilla in thick snow. I love it SO MUCH. Such a great, unique take on vanilla that completely caught me off guard. I was convinced there was lavender in it before looking at the notes, maybe the Tonkin musk/tonka bean drydown with the slight citrusy hint causes that effect?? Anyway it’s perfect and so good for anyone who just associates vanilla with dessert, sickly, cloying scents and doesn’t like that. Sublime Vanille is nothing like that. OBSESSED and Sublime is indeed the word

opened perfumes selling recs

I have so many opened perfumes, some of which have barely been used which I want to sell. They were expensive and it’d be a shame to just give them away (and I want to use the money to fuel my fragrance obsession) Where in the UK can you do that?
On Vinted it’s banned (although almost every listing I see the perfumes are opened and have about 3/4 of the fragrance left in them) I tried to list them before but got removed with a warning despite others doing it all the time.
I think it’s so annoying, I’m more than happy to buy a luxury perfume that’s been opened and used a few times, especially if it lowers the price from retail so much.

I also listed them on eBay as people told me it’s a safer bet but my listings got removed again.
Any suggestions?

Edit for the bots I’M NOT TRYING TO SELL VIA REDDIT

Rose and vanilla fragrance recs but elevated

I’m looking for a more luxury, elevated version of Rose Gourmand by Zara. I love a sweet rose vanilla combo but don’t like anything super sickly gourmand from the vanilla side or anything powdery grandma from the rose.

This is really specific but if anyone knows the candle Rose Ganache by DW Homes, if there’s a fragrance version of that, pleaseeee let me know !!!

Asking for general feedback for fragrance copywriting drafts.

I’ve recently been building a portfolio for fragrance copywriting. I have zero experience but when it occurred to me that the job exists it’s like a light switched on in my head as I love both storytelling and fragrance deeply, and prior to this never felt like I had a passion for work. I wanted to share a couple of my pieces just for general feedback, and to ask if I’ve got the right idea.
I know they’re a bit dramatic and long-winded so just asking for any advice or tips.

ROSE OF NO MAN’S LAND - BYREDO
A melancholic, honeyed fragrance. Midday sunshine beams onto the remnants of a white-walled chapel along a countryside road. A sole, dried Turkish rose sways in the zephyr. A pink pepper-spiced, quiet sweetness of raspberry bloom fills the air as afternoon hours creep closer.
Endless, sun-dried meadows surround the chapel where smoky papyrus and warm amber lend the landscape a woody backbone.
SHORT-FORM COPY
Rose of No Man's Land is an airy scent that opens with Turkish rose delicately spiced by pink pepper. It later reveals a sparkling raspberry bloom which dries down into a smoky, woody base of papyrus and amber.

DA LAT - D’ANNAM
Da Lat opens with an astringent red wine note, intertwined with piney, dry juniper. A rich, evergreen pine forest takes shape around you, far removed from the movement of the city. The air starts to feel aromatic and freshly spicy as heart notes of peony and cedarwood quietly intermingle.
You overlook the sea of green before you, delicately lit by the crescent moon above.
The warmth of red wine lingers as you give in to the musky, rounded dry-down of smoky nagarmotha, softened by a dewy, vinous sweetness and floral traces.
SHORT-FORM COPY
A sophisticated scent with a coarse opening.
Red wine and juniper weave into lightly spiced, dewy florals of rose and peony. Da Lat settles on your skin with sweetly woody accords of musk and cedarwood, accompanied by vinous richness and floral remnants.

Thanks!!!

My visual interpretations of specific fragrances

I made these moodboards based on the fragrances written on each one to hopefully help see what they smell like based on the atmosphere I think they evoke <3

Curious if these fragrances come across completely different to anyone?

EXTREME copying/borderline stalking (long story)

I used to be friends with my ex as we had loads of mutual friends a couple years ago and ended up befriending his new (now ex) girlfriend. She asked if I wanted to get a drink sometime and after the drink we just started hanging out a lot because we had a lot in common. Looking back on it I think she just researched tf out of me and was doing this before we even met.
Before I ever met her, I went to a festival and posted a picture on my (previously public) instagram, where I had my hair in 2 ponytails with checkered red and white ribbons tied around them. A few months after that, I went to the pub where my ex (her bf at the time) worked, with my friend, to say hey, and it turns out she was also working there at the time (I didn’t know this) but I’d never seen her before, so when I saw her, I was super taken aback by the fact that her hair was in 2 ponytails with the red and white checkered ribbons that I had in my hair a few months back. I obviously DIDNT KNOW WHAT WAS COMING so just thought it was an insane coincidence but just thought it was kind of cool because originally I had an optimistic outlook to that kind of scenario. Looking back it’s kind of crazy that I saw her on the exact day she had the hairstyle in because neither of us were expecting to see each other.
When I first met her we spoke about both having lip and nose filler (NEVER met anyone else my age at the time who had nose filler and it turns out we got it from the SAME random ass practitioner) and both had a bunch of tattoos etc I was like 20 at the time and none of my friends had any yet (she’s 2 years younger than me btw).
Eventually we got quite close and started hanging out a lot, we wore a lot of the same clothes (like having the same top but in slightly different colours) and both put each other onto new things but it got really one sided and weird. She started doing things like, telling me she hated gold jewellery, but then when I switched to gold from silver, she immediately switched to it too. It started off just wearing the same clothes, people constantly telling us we ‘look like sisters’ but I assumed we just had similar taste. I made the mistake of getting her a job at the pub I worked and she merged with all my coworkers who I was super close with. She used to lie ALOT very unnecessarily to the point where it was just weird, like for example saying she got an uber somewhere but then it would turn out she was on the bus, just completely unnecessary stuff. It was always really obvious when she was lying but because it was harmless I never pulled her up on it because I couldn’t handle the second-hand embarrassment and it was weird but not vicious. It started to get more intense, like she’d show up to work in the exact outfit from HEAD TO TOE that I wore the day before. I started avoiding telling her where I got something from because it didn’t feel complimentary anymore it just felt invasive. We had about a six month streak of having the EXACT same nail colour (me first every time) and I mean random ass colours, like blue, green, yellow, red, and every time she’d get her nails done, it would always be the colour I just had, down to the EXACT shade. When I bought an iPad she bought an iPad a couple days later. Just like SUPER weird. At one point someone had asked me to move my phone off the charger at work because they wanted to use it, and even I assumed it was mine, because it was my phone case and lock screen but of course it was hers and mine was in my pocket. Everyone around us could see it and it just kind of became a running joke because I really didn’t want to bring it up to her because it felt way too cringey and I didn’t want to embarrass her or be mean. I’m not super different but I value my own taste, personality and the things that make me unique and it just felt really annoying, suffocating and like someone was taking away from pieces of me.
It continued, from clothes, to accessories, to jewellery, to vocabulary, to friendships, vape flavour, snacks, drinks, every tiny irrelevant detail you can imagine.
Eventually we fell out because she slept with a guy my best friend (who she was also very good friends with) was seeing at the time, and both me and my best friend didn’t speak to her after that. She left our workplace and basically vanished but I had her on social media for a while.
The copying continued, I switched back to silver after like a year of wearing gold and lo and behold a couple days later I saw the same from her. I had 2 pretty expensive vintage designer handbags that I saw her get shortly after too. I got bought a massive vintage fur coat by my partner, and of course I saw a picture of a direct copy on her a couple weeks later. I had a drill playlist on my Spotify with a cute girly cover photo (I know it’s cringe) and a cute name and I saw an EXACT copy on her profile when I logged her out of the work computer. Like this was such a costly habit to have, it just seemed so dedicated in every way. There was a point where I bought a name necklace and it had a tiny red stone attached to the end of the name, and a couple weeks later, she posted herself in a name necklace, and then a couple days later, had a little stone attached to hers. It’s almost like I got into the habit of anticipating to see something new that reflected me in her every day and it was unhealthy but it made me feel so weird and uncomfortable but in a way where I developed obsessive compulsive thoughts about it and felt the need to keep updated to make sure I had the situation under control. Hairstyles, earrings, tattoos, clothes, nails, bags, everything, you name it, if I had it, it only took a couple days for her to have it. Without seeing me, speaking to me or even being around me for MONTHS at this point.
I sent her an apology message for how things ended about a year ago to clear my conscience and just ease any anxiety she may have had about the past. She was always very anxious and kind of an emotional wreck and as time passed I felt guilty for how I treated her. Just a general, sorry for how things ended, hope you’re okay etc. She never replied to me which is fine. She used to drink daily, take lots of medication and have very fragile mental heath, so that definitely added to her erratic ways, and I always took that into consideration.
I also left the workplace and started working at a nursery after we stopped being friends and changed my routine just under a year ago.
She removed me off social media a few months ago, which surprised me but obviously doesn’t matter now as everything was in the past. However, I heard today, that one of my friends had bumped into her recently, had a catch up and she had told him she works at a nursery now.
Obviously I didn’t invent nursery work, and I can’t tell anyone what they should and shouldn’t be doing with their career paths, but after all of these ins and outs, it is INSANE to me to have heard that. My friend said himself that when he heard her say that he could barely contain himself. This is a girl who used to stay up till stupid hours in the morning, constantly drinks and can’t put her vape down for 2 minutes, and is completely unserious about work (which is fine and unproblematic to me) I would NEVER picture her being able to work in that field. After all of this it CANT be a coincidence. I don’t know why but hearing that was INSANE to me, it literally makes me feel like I’m going mad. It feels like someone is chasing my identity, I know that sounds so extreme, but it genuinely feels terrifying and super invasive and just unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before. I know I’m not under threat whatsoever, it’s just mind blowing to me. I can’t comprehend what it is, because all of it was so unsubtle and direct, and just so blatant but also super detailed and down to the tiniest thing most people wouldn’t notice. I just don’t understand it at all and I honestly let go of it until I heard about the nursery job.
