ULPT: Need to rehome your pet? Post an ad acting like the worst owner ever

Nobody wants to give up their pet. I would never give up my pet. But if you need free sympathy, traction, and clicks to get your pet noticed faster, try posting an ad as if you're a villain in a kids movie.

"Need to get rid of this cat before a bachelor party in Tijuana" or "Stupid thing gets water on the floor when it drinks. I tried punishing it and taking the water away but nothing is working. Needs to go."

Someone with a tender heart will scoop them up and treat your sweet little companion like it deserves.

What type of metal is the SOLID tip of a thermometer made of?

Once upon a time I used a lighter to "sanitize" it like you do with a needle and it instantly melted. so I know it's not aluminum or stainless steel

don't say mercury.

Treasure Island or Palms?

I'm staying with a group for 4 days at PH, and arriving 1 night before everyone else. I want a new hotel to try because why not, which of the 2 would you pick at this budget?

Anyone here have ACL/knee surgery? How long until you were able to be in bed restraints again?

I'm curious if anyone's out there. There's a lot of twisting, but not a lot of weight bearing.

Does recovery get MORE difficult?

I'm at 1 month, still in the brace but feeling pretty good with pain and mobility right now. People at 6+ months, how did this graph translate to your experience? Of courseI shouldn't be doing sports yet, but should aspects of my PT be ramping DOWN during this period? Does it mean more swelling and pain?

All-inclusive resort tips?

I'll be 1 month post-op, ACL only no meniscus, and flying to an all-inclusive in the Caribbean. Still mandated to be in the brace, going to bring my crutches too and probably wear a leg sleeve 24/7 like I am now. Anything else I should be thinking of?

How, when, and with what do I fertilize a melon plant?

I've got some nice long vines in 100% compost and the bees were out pollinating yesterday. I read that melons need all kinds of micronutrients. Do I need one with Boron? Sulfur? Yes, I know you can get boron from Borax. Do I have to do 8 different things to get each element or is there a fertilizer that contains all these? Which NPK do I need and when?

Incrediwear rant

The leg sleeve sizing for this product is horrible. You can't say your sleeve is "akshually not compression wear" and then make everything 2 sizes too small anyway.

All the sizes are SUPPOSED to be a 4 inch difference from each other, but I'm sitting here with both a medium and a large. The difference at the thigh is like 1/2", max 1" when stretched out. They even weigh the exact same (82g). On top of that, my 6'1 210lb man thigh technically measured as a small, according to the chart and where to measure it at. I'm even thinking of returning my large sleeve AGAIN and getting an XL

Do any systems you've met have a MAGA headmate?

It's something I don't ever see brought up. I'd like to know why people think this is the case. Based on statistics, there have to be SOME.

Day 3 post-op, what should I be doing?

ACL partial tear, allograft. I have a long weekend and week ahead of me, and they gave my drugged ass a packet with random exercises and wheeled me out. Nobody talked to me about what to do except "stay in the brace, keep your knee straight, and pump your ankles." I feel like I was under-briefed. My first post-op and PT appointment isn't for another 10 days.

I just took the bandage and dressing off like instructed. Am I just supposed to stay elevated and locked straight 23 hours a day, until PT? Seeing everyone on here doing quad stuff and bending their knees has me second guessing things

They call a regular box "Pantry Size" because it looks like "Party Size" at first glance so you think you're getting a deal on a bigger size.

Lettuce wilts after picking?

I picked like 3 leaves off the outside of only this single Bibb lettuce yesterday, and now the whole plant is limp and saggy. My other lettuce plants are still firm and springy. It's been 65 degrees out. Did I do something wrong? It's literally the first thing I harvested this year.
