Where can I buy Leukotape P for blister prevention?

I’ll be doing day hikes in Rocky Mountain National Park at the end of August. On every hike I plan to carry a lightweight down jacket, fleece, rain jacket, foam sit pad, and an emergency bivy in case I get injured or have to spend an unexpected night out. Of course I will be carrying a Garmin Inreach Mini 2 device.
Does this seem reasonable, or am I being overly cautious? What do you usually carry for RMNP day hikes?
Did first install and connect it to wifi and it works flawlessly when I'm home but I can't find the settings to enable remote printing. Looked for it both in the app and on the printer itself.
Please someone help me
Hey everyone, Im currently studying for my exams and living in a top floor apartment. It’s currently 31°C in my room and I can barely take it anymore.
Are there any nice, cool places in Basel with a desk where I can study? Someone already recommended UN to me, but it’s way too busy/crowded for me. I’d usually love to go to the FHNW in Muttenz, but right now that’s too far of a distance for me.
If important: I have an FHNW card, but I’m not a student at the University of Basel. Any recommendations would be appreciated, it should be noticeably cooler than outside though. Thanks in advance!
I've recently received a job offer for a position at the Digitec store in Basel and I'm currently trying to decide wether I should take it.
The role itself sounds interesting, and I've always been into tech, but I'd love to hear from people who have actually worked there (not in the warehouses or corporate jobs)
How was your experience/ how were managers and colleagues?
I already have checked the usual employer review sites, but maybe firsthand experience is a lot more useful.
Any insights would be appreciated. Thanks!
I recently switched from iPhone to android (samsung galaxy s26) and 1password works completely random. Sometimes it autofills and sometimes not or only partially. What is this?? For example on some websites it just puts in the password without the username or in certain apps it's not supported at all. How can I fix this? As of now it is completely useless and I am looking for alternatives.
The goal is most nights dispersed camping and the rest hotels or national campgrounds
At the beginning I intended to start my road trip from Vegas and visit the mighty 5 in Utah but was told not to do this since it will be way too hot at night for dispersed camping.
Therefore I am looking for a different starting point for my 7-day roundtrip. What would be perfect for solo car camping and has a lot of options for dispersed camping that are easily accessible with a rental car from the airport?
It seems like all the car rentals say you can't drive them on unpaved roads. I never knew you weren't supposed to drive on gravel and tbh I've done it a bunch of times in europe. Now that I know it voids the insurance though I am having a lot of anxiety about renting cars for my trips to Bryce, Zion, Arches etc. I even planned to disperse camp on BLM land for a few nights but most of them are only accessible through unpaved roads (some are graded dirt roads). I'm currently planning on renting either from Hertz, Sixt, National or Alamo and they all seem to have that clause
Has anyone actually had a car rental company come at them for driving on gravel roads? I'm wondering if I'd be better off going to a Local Outfitter who agrees to let me use the car on gravel roads but that would absolutely obliberate my budget.
Hallo Zusammen,
Must be from one of the airport rentals since I can get them basically for free. Not sure whether I should get a Wrangler Ultimate or BMW X5. For both offroading is prohibited though so not sure what to do since the Offroad Rentals are way more expensive.
My goal is to visit several national parks and sometimes do dispersed camping
I will rent a stock Wrangler Unlimited and will probably camp in a tent 70% of the time but there's some places where it is not safe to be outside due to dangerous wild animals so my question is; Can I 5'10 sleep in that car for 1-3 Nights or is it too uncomfortable?
I made sure to not over water it and give it tons of sun in my garden. My frist guess was that it needs fertilizer as this is just regular old soil i mixed with some perlite.
For watering i just check with my finger whether the top of the soil is dry
I'm considering Sympany Tourist Subito for my trip. The plan costs CHF 35 for 17 days and includes 250'000 CHF of medical coverage.
Would you consider that sufficient for the USA? And if not, are there any better offers? Most of which I have found cost upwards of 200 CHF and include stuff I don't really need or am already covered for
I upgraded from a 12 Pro Max to an S26 Ultra and even though the iPhone is much much older, the selfies it produces look more natural, are not oversharpened and somehow blurry at the same time even though I removed all beauty filters etc. it just looks shit compared to the iPhone. Is there anything I can do to fix this? Is there a hidden menu to adress those quality issues? (its not my phone i compared it to ones in the store and they are the same)
